    Thought I was going crazy when i noticed the rear wheels tucked up in further than the front. Now that I know it’s normal, I think I’ll leave it. Great Video! Keep on Truckin!

      I'm sure there is some Engineer's reason for it.

    With a shorter rear axle you actually have better traction in mud-like conditions because the rear tires wont follow 100% of the same track as the front

      Thats a good point that I had not heard before.

    Ive heard that the rear end was made to be more narrow so the rear didnt run in the same tracks as the front whilst off roading 🙏

      Could be?? Lots of people say it has something to do with turning radius.

    What's the Centric bore you used? I have my 89 Suburban and looks odd with the rears tucked. Was looking to do the same. But it's an American company looking for something just a tad bit cheaper

      I gave the wheel info and truck info to the company and they knew the specs. Stay away from the cheap foreign made ones. They are unsafe and a disaster waiting to happen. The BORA units are well made and not too expensive.

    Great video! I see it’s been a couple years since the spacers have been on the blazer how is it working out? Any problems?

    the difference is for turning radius

    • @AxlesGarage
      @AxlesGarage  6 лет назад

      I have heard that in the past, don't know of anyone who had been able to confirm it. Another good and popular rumor is that the rear track width was part of the military spec for some reason. Thanks for watching.

    How are these wheel spacers working for you? Heard so many different comments good and bad. It’s always best to hear from actual examples. Thanks

      Absolutely perfect. The guys at BORA were knowledgeable, price was good, US made. No complaints from me, would definitely buy from them again.

    Hey, could you do a video on power window switch replacement. I don’t know how the wires should go in and how to install it correctly. If not I’m in long island 🤷🏼‍♂️

    do you know the hub bore size? some says 100mm others says 78...thx

    • @AxlesGarage
      @AxlesGarage  2 года назад

      If my memory serves me correctly it was 78. When I called BORA, they were able to determine based on year/make/model

    Did this have a lip for the center bore of the wheels to sit on?

    • @AxlesGarage
      @AxlesGarage  2 года назад

      No. BUT they are custom made in 2 weeks. Call them up and order what you want. If you measure you wheel bore diameter they can made them with the lip.

    The blazer has the same turning radius as a mini cooper.

  • @hollywood21639

    They used the standard truck axle that's why the rear is more narrow. To save money.

      I do not, I called them direct and told them what I wanted to do. They handled the rest,

    What size of tires are you running in this video? 33x12.5x15?

    • @AxlesGarage
      @AxlesGarage  5 лет назад

      Yes, 33/12.5/15. Thanks for watching.

      @@AxlesGarage I apologize for even asking... I just started re-watching and realized you started the size right in the video. My next question. Is your blazer lifted? If not, how did you get 33x12.5 to fit?

    What is the rear hub bore diameter on your 89?

    • @AxlesGarage
      @AxlesGarage  2 года назад

      Don't know. I called Bora to order, told them I had the factory stock axles and they made up the spacers for me. They know all the dimensions.
