If you had 10 of them, maybe, but stick with traditional 18" subs, they will be your best bet...and produce the low end you need. Stay with a powered sub of at least 800w RMS to a quality driver. RCF and dB Tech make some great ones...also the QSC KW181 is acceptable. But you must be careful not to over drive a sub...
yes, the 10" sub is amazing for mixing , but best for home theater system IMO, we have 2 hooked up and makes movies worth watching, along with a pair of the AYRA 6's
Sounds more like a phase/cancellation issue rather than the mic.
We just got the wireless set up and working out the level issues into the camcorders...it is not as pristine as we had hoped...

I guess they feel they would sit on a carpeted floor and would not need them or if used in studio have an isolator base underneath...????
