My passionate expressions regarding today might be seen as unpatriotic, but they stem from a profound loyalty to our global community and the collective trauma that we and our ancestors have endured. I strive to be a catalyst for awareness, much like the grain of sand that irritates the oyster. While many prefer to ignore the obvious issues at hand, I am the one who points out the proverbial elephant in the room, urging others to acknowledge and address it. As we celebrate Independence Day, I reflect on the complex history behind it. This day marks the beginning of a narrative constructed on the displacement and suffering of our ancestors. Wars and forced relocations disrupted their lives, and their lands, identities, and histories. Their cultural artifacts, and dignity was taken. They were coerced into abandoning their ancestral rituals, which were deemed witchcraft, and forbidden. While simultaneously being forced into adopting new Christian practices. I see today as a day to remember the blindness, subjugation, ignorance, and dependency imposed on our ancestors, and us by extension. Unfortunately, we have forgotten this trauma and instead, find ourselves divided, and struggling for identity within the very systems that oppressed our forebears. So, I decided to declare this day as an Independence Day for the spirit and souls of the descendants of those who endured these atrocities. BTW....It almost feels as if this person possesses an intimate knowledge about my life. Like he's living in my house and observing my every move. Lol Love this channel
I embrace my eccentricity. I dont care what ppl think of me as long as GOD is happy with who I am and how I live. The peace I feel now lets me know, GOD is always with me and that my friends is what I live to maintain❗️Faith. LOVE. GOD. 🫶🏾✨️
