Overall, this is a true message, for most people. However, there are exceptions to every rule.
Some people clear "collective karma". They will take on individual's karma to clear for the collective, or everybody.
Personally, I push anger karma, if necessary. When someone crosses a line of dangering themselves, others, or the environment: I will step in. I don't take that persons karma, but I make that person aware of their actions.

I would be interested in hearing you do a slightly different inspiring tale of how when you give away anything your love or your time or your money and the person needs more and more of your resources and becomes dependent of you .. then when you pull back how the good karma becomes jaded and taken advantaged of and turns in to negative energy.. so my question is why even try to help people . when they will not really appreciate the stuff that you have given them or tried to inspire them and they just become "blood suckers" on your life instead of their being able to pay it forward?
