2 points about learning french. 1) Have a Syllabus of fluency to go by. 2) Find small ways of using french, such as sending Christmas cards to french speaking areas. In my situation, that is to Sutton and Potton Heritage societies, because I want documentation to prove my lineage to Ben Barnett of the American Revolution. Ben actually lived in Sutton for a time, and his son Rogers lived in Potton for a long time. The motivation is there. BTW, I am a member of those 2 Heritage Historical Societies Emma.

I joined the Heritage Societies of Sutton and Potton Quebec and get their newsletters. Glad to get your reply, and please do keep in touch, even if you feel progress is slow going. As mentioned in earlier messages, I like the Learn French with Virginie youtube videos. I am in the process of converting over from an All in One desktop pc with Windows 10, to a laptop that has Windows 11, and it is an HP laptop from Walmart.
