me too i am buying all these overdrive/distortion pedals to try and get my strat to sound like his does hear and he is going straight into a amp KILLER!
It took me about 5 years of buying numerous pedals and amps to figure out that the best way to get the best tone is from the amp itself. Pedals are usually a half assed way to get there, but it's never like the real thing (the amp!). I now use pedals just for boosts, modulation & delay. My Friedman Dirty Shirley gives me all the tone I could ever want. This amp is also on my shopping list.
Couldn´t agree more ! The amp should deliver the gain, not the pedal... it took me a lot of money to learn this lesson. All pedal makers who claim that their pedals can substite a good amp aren´t honest in my opinion ! Otherwise we all could play one-channel- clean- amps and safe a lot of money... but it doesn´t work this way.... ;-)
Julian Gunney mine too! I have heard a description of the 44 saying that it's more Marshall than Marshall... That it has to sound of a Marshall that you hear in your head.
How does all the hiss go away when you play but when you just stop to explain the features of the amp I can easily hear the amp goes like hissssshshhshs. How do you cut the hiss?
Great tones - especially from the 44. Don't get me wrong, the 22 sounds really nice, but the 44 simply sounds "right"... must be those EL34s cooking up the proper Marshall-y mojo.
Heve you seen the new demos Victory just put up on all these amps. Much more detail, but.still effective. And they finally just did a Vox esque amp. VC35. Beautiful. I have a BD1, and for modded Plexi sound, I love it. Great amps
William A-D yes you can in theory, but if the two guitars play together it sounds awful. The frequencies try to fight eachother and it doesnt sound nice. The different give off a different tone. It sometimes can be a lower gain jack and a higher gain jack. Its different in all amps
Input I is Volume 1 input II is Volume 2. Think of it as 2 channels. With the supplied footswitch, plug your guitar into Input I and the switch into Input II as stated in the documentation then you can switch between channels for example, Volume 1 being your clean and Volume 2 being your dirt.
So both models have no clean headroom then? Even with single coils? That’s surprising, especially at 44 watts. I had a plexi super bass 50 that could stay plenty clean and loud with single coils.
my 44 arrived two days ago, such a killer amp ^-^
That's cool. Can I play on it?
how is the tone controls? I heard that the controls doesnt do much.
Really digging that strat/sheriff combo
So am I ! Better than any Od pedal.
Alex Curtis first finish watching the video and then reply to comments ;-) there also is footage of a strat

That is the sound in my head, Sheriff 44

Wow! Great tone.
Is this basically Victory's take on a Marshall JTM?
danyjr pretty much
through what speakers were they played in this video?
I need that Sheriff 22!!
Love the sound of the 44! Will it play loud?
22 sounds beautiful! But 44 it’s the boss! Bad ass solid tone like the real good old Marshall’s
Hi Mick any others effects used in this video like reberb , comp...?
these amps sound quite good
Guitarist. What speakers? V30?

Hamad Al Mutawa unless the hiss is as loud as your guitar signal this is normal, I like the Mxr noise clamp
Is there a volume bump when you switch from cahnnel 1 to channel 2 if you set channel 2 for a high gain.
I'd love one, but @ $1900aud I'll be waiting a while.
Sounds great. I'd love to get my hands on one of these soon.

I have a feeling that 44 has way more gain and breaks more easily that 22
All amps should have simple, effective and functional demos like this. It should be law. I want both amps btw...
Heve you seen the new demos Victory just put up on all these amps. Much more detail, but.still effective. And they finally just did a Vox esque amp. VC35. Beautiful. I have a BD1, and for modded Plexi sound, I love it. Great amps
Does anyone know what guitar leads guitarist magazine use in all of their photos and demos??? there are usually purple
Viral Machine Providence cables
Ah Thanks Man :)
why is there two inputs for the guitar does it mean you can play two guitars at once
William A-D yes you can in theory, but if the two guitars play together it sounds awful. The frequencies try to fight eachother and it doesnt sound nice. The different give off a different tone. It sometimes can be a lower gain jack and a higher gain jack. Its different in all amps
Nick Denman ok

David Beahm ok what type of foot switch?
