We've done some hard Pokemon challenges in the past, but usually they were a solo or monotype Pokemon challenge run. What if we still did a really difficult challenge... but using hardcore nuzlocke rules, and with only a Pokemon character's best team as a theme team nuzlocke? Today we find out: can Sabrina's Best Team Beat a hardcore nuzlocke of Pokemon Y!?

Character Best Team Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
(1) If a Pokémon faints, it must be permanently boxed or released.
(2) Only one encounter per badge obtained.
(3) No Legendaries/Mythicals, duplicates, or same-evolution-line Pokémon can be caught or used. If a duplicate is encountered, the next unique type-specific Pokémon encounter can be caught.
(4) Additional Pokémon may be caught for the purpose of HM use, but these may not be used in battle at any time during the run.
(5) No Items can be used in battle (Held Items are allowed).
(6) Party Pokémon levels are limited to the highest level Pokémon of the next Gym Leader or Elite 4 Member. So long as your Pokémon are at or below the level cap when the Gym Leader/Elite 4 Member battle starts, they can level up mid-battle.
(7) "Set" Battle Mode must be used at all times.
(8) No connecting with other games for the purposes of importing Pokémon, Items, etc.

It's unique and I love it, especially because as much as I hate to say it there are a finite amount of type runs you can do. You gotta think outside the box and use gimmicks or themes and I think the gym leader theme is a good choice.
Imagine your first Pokemon being a Beldum. It'd be just as effective training him by grabbing it by the head and beating people over the head with it
Really sad this isn’t getting as much attention , not only the videos are great but you somehow found a way to make a nuzLocke, which has been around for years, something going fresh

If Silph sees this, I think a fun idea for a Nuzlocke (once you're done with Gym Leader teams) is a Nuzlocke where you can only use the Ace Pokemon of that game's Gym Leaders. So, for Platinum, you'd have Rampardos, Roserade, Mismagius, Lucario, Floatzel, Bastiodon, Froslass, and Luxray. Really good Pokemon, just not a lot of them.

This is probably my favorite Gym Leader type challenge thus far! Psychic is my fave type, so that might play a pat, but great job nonetheless! :)
I think this is one of the most solid gym team runs. With that said though i really enjoy this series it is fun to watch.
Idk, i cant see Sabrina without “Alakazam, Venomoth, Jynx, Mr Mime, Slowbro and Hypno”… sure some of them would be swaped to this actual Team but, i’ve missed them… actually, idk if they are or not in this dex!!! Btw, loved the vídeo! Awesome content, like always!! ❤️
