Thanks! That's the goal, most of these third party options people just don't know what's what, so I try to go over a lot of products we have at Nostalgic like that. Especially in a case like this where they're pretty much the only controllers we have
I got this thing it instantly connected for a few then i charged it for a whole day it blinked while charge and when I go to sync it and just blinks and blinks and nothing happens it won’t connect
How are they with racing games? I tried playing Gran Turismo and other racing games with aftermarket controllers and the analogs are way too sensitive.
i hope one day someone just comes out with every controller made for every major console that not only looks exactly like the original but includes a larger longer lasting battery or Longer Cable, Holo Sticks, and a Strudy Feeling Controller
We can dream. Hyperkin is honestly the closest we've gotten, but even then they have some differences to avoid copyrights. They're probably the best quality controllers for the most digestible price.
the only thing that matters with controlers for ps2 is if they are pressure sensitive, of course sonys type is patented but theres other pressure sensor technologies in some controllers, sometimes even cheap ones have them, i feel like the manufacturers just arent very aware that its something we want, and its pisses me off tbh
Frustrates me as well. I can't remember if I covered it in the video, but these controllers have it. It DEFINATLEY isn't as smooth as an oem, and I contribute that mostly to the physical construction and plastic quality, but it is there.
Hello friend, I have a problem with the game Terraria on xbox 360 Every time I enter the game, this problem appears and it says: system update required
It's nice to see that there are still some cool 3rd party controllers available. The most ones i see, are rebranded from Ali-E. Btw. my favorite PS2 games are Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy and Burnout 3 Takedown. :)
I had a Saitek-branded DoubleShock 2, and it's way too big and way too advanced for my tastes. Not to mention it has Turbo, Macro and other complicated settings I can't seem to figure out. Thankfully yours is more simplified. I can check it out when possible.
Just looked that thing up and bout vomited. The Saitek PX4000 Double Shock 2 looks migraine-inducing. Looks like they also had at least 4 different PS2 controllers of varying design and complexity, good lord. One had a modular left D-Pad and Control Stick so you could spin it around for a more X-Box controller layout, which is pretty cool, but the form factor still looks abysmal.
Great video. I appreciate the review of the controller. Never know what ones to look for.

What about pressure sensitive buttons? Some games like Metal Gear Solid 2 require them.
yes they do include Pressure Sensitive Buttons not sure why they didnt metion it but it is listed in the Offical OldSkool Description
I mentioned it about the analog triggers which is what I thought the box was referring too. Could def be my bad

In Grand Turismo 4, can you acelerate/ brake with the analog triggers ? I hate using the X and Square buttons to do it

😂 no offense but if I'm going to spend more than twenty dollars on something I need gameplay footage of it being used.😂
I just bought a wireless one and it drifted right out of the box.
Did you call the police?
