- hi besties :) just wanted to come on here and share my thoughts and experience with the eras tour presale craziness. i also wanted to talk about ticketmaster and the mistakes that were made that caused so much chaos and stress to all the swifties.
again, i am very grateful for my tickets and i am so sorry to anyone that wasn’t able to get as lucky as me. i hope that there is change for the ticket buying process in the future and that ticketmaster is held accountable for their mistakes.

I don't think people have the right to come at you for getting tickets for two shows. It's not like you're a scalper. I didn't get tickets and sure, I'm jealous because I've never been able to see her live before despite being a fan for 15 years, but I'm happy for you and that's how it should be.

I agree and thinks that two is fine, I have no problem with that. I do have a problem with that kind of thing sometimes, like when somebody goes to every show of a tour when they know that loads of people want tickets.
@@Charlotte-fn5jy yeah I don't really like that either when someone goes to like every tour stop and essentially tours with the artist. But a few shows is fine.
@@ElizabethNicoleSchwartz oh yeah 100%. And it also depends on how sold out the show gets. Like I went to two shows of Ed Sheeran last year, but the tickets were still available really close to the dates anyway. It’s more so the people that tour with them and buy their tickets knowing that they’ll sell out immediately.
I was lucky enough to get floor tickets after waiting six hours, and, as I’ve heard other people say, there’s almost this weird shadow of guilt over having them you know? I think Ticketmaster’s system is so messed up and that the anger should be directed at them+change and not the people who were lucky enough to get tickets. I’m so happy you got some Nena!!

I'm a teacher and a Swiftie, and I used the Ticketmaster fiasco as an example in class yesterday. I'm sure my students are getting tired of hearing about TS, but tough.

You should be really happy that you got tickets to your local show! And Nena should be extremely happy that she got tickets to her local show. The fact that she's going to more than one is what seems ridiculous to most people.

You don’t need to justify yourself getting tickets for multiple shows!! People should be aiming their anger towards ticketmaster and the scalpers not fans who were lucky enough to get tickets.

Thank you for this video. It opened my eyes to a lot that I didn't know. I had no idea an artist even could or has canceled resale tickets. No idea if taylor needed to have that in writing before but it should definitely be in her future contracts.
You deserve those tickets!! I didn't get them, but you should still be happy, and super excited!! All I ask is that you have the time of your life, and scream and clap loud enough for all of us!!!
I so want a ticket for Taylor for the European leg....but really lost a lot of confidence that this will happen after what happened in the US...I've never seen Taylor live yet and I'm not getting any younger...I guess what will be will be so just everything crossed for when they go on sale....I feel so bad for everyone in the US who never got a ticket...more so for fans who for them would have been the first time..only to be dashed....I'm 73 and I know the emotions that are going through my body..just thinking about going to a Taylor show...I guess it must be way worse for younger fans....I really hope that Taylor manages to sort something out to help more of you to be able to sing along with her live...Love your vids...thanks xxx

I had tickets slip out of my hands or got kicked to the back of the line. Fortunately my best friend was able to find a friend of hers who wanted to sell hers and I snagged them and they were on the floor!!! I wish all other Swifties good luck with trying to get tickets. I’m forever grateful that I was able to get tickets for this show!! 🤞🤞🤞🤞. The ones who didn’t have codes should NEVER have been allowed to join the queue. And I agree with you that they should have the code to join the queue to be allowed in to get tickets. The Bots are just not fair. Also Taylor herself even verified with TicketMaster that they could handle the demand and NUMEROUS times they said they could so this wasn’t a shock to them. Pennsylvania AG is also taking complaints by Swifties for what happened.
I’m so happy you were able to get tickets! I don’t think there is anything wrong with wanting to go to more than one show. Like you said, it was always fine in the past and there was no way for you to know this was how it was going to be this time. My friend who got a code spent forever waiting in line to only find the show we wanted was sold out. It was so unfortunate and I think it happened to a lot of Swifties. We were excited because we thought we would have the Lover Fest priority, but like you mentioned, it really didn’t matter in the end since the codes were random. I am so happy that you got tickets! And I can't wait to hear about those experiences. Like you, I feel very grateful to get tickets to her show. It wasn't ideal. I unfortunately didn't get a presale code and when they cancelled general sales, I panicked and went to a resale website and bought 2 tickets I could afford. It's not how I wanted to buy them, but now I get to see Taylor on my birthday in LA and I couldn't be more excited. I hope you are too! Me and my friend got tickets to see her in Chicago! we are so excited especially because we actually know she would never come to Latin America, is the first time we are going to see her in concert, but you're right the process was awful and so stressful, and it actually was a miracle we could get those tickets, a Miracle for sure!

You’re so so, incredibly lucky you’re even able to go to her opening shows each time. What a blessing that chance is. I’m here waiting in Australia watching the drama do down like: might be April 29, 21989 until I even see her show lol😅 is it bad that I even signed up for her ticket pre-sales dreaming, pretending I live in the US haha and I bought her mech waiting for my chance. Honestly loving midnights so much. It’s such a combination of all her successes with her previous albums. Every song including 3am edition is a treasure.
I've been Taylor's fan since the beginning of red era and I never could even imagine going to a concert to see her because I live somewhere that it just can never happen, but I was actually very happy that you got the ticket I hope some day I can go to her concert, but I think it's understandable to feel left out and bumped if you can't get tickets, but it's not ok to expect people not be happy to get one cause at last some people will get tickets and some won't and if it was the other way around you would be happy, so I hope anyone who got ticket enjoys the show and tell us all about it
I didn’t get tickets and I’m not mad at you for getting several tickets. I am mad at the bots/scrapplers for getting tickets and reselling them for obnoxious prices. I’m holding on hope that I’ll get tickets and see Taylor ❤️

It's not your fault at all! I was planning to go to multiple shows too but ended up getting just one. Swifties buying multiple shows did not cause this problem, it was all the scalpers/bots on ticketmaster who got codes(see the stubhub market). I'm so sorry people are giving you a rough time, and I'm so happy you got tickets!
The same thing happened to me that you mentioned in your video. Verified fan and the boost from Taylor Nation from purchasing on the store. I was in queue for 5.5 hours for Atlanta 4/29. Did my research the night previously for which section I was looking for…literally googling images of the sections with my daughter like a crazy person. Didn’t have a problem with my code getting in. I had our three tickets for the actual section we wanted…$777 and some change for them (price was for the fees and tax). I couldn’t believe it!! I was sooo excited!!! Went to check out, did the entire process, and… it wouldn’t accept my card!! I was just like you, had them in my cart….they were right there, IN MY GRASP, the seats we wanted. Then it denied my card and kicked me back out after saying I exceeded the limit of try’s for the card. I was devastated and so mentally drained. I HAD THEM!! I just knew that I had them!! So I went back to the queue and then fought like hell for 30 minutes trying to get any seats I could. It was an all out war. They were just disappearing left and right…then all sold out. I did have a breakdown and was soooo upset. One thing I have to say is that I have noticed that not one single fan has remotely bragged about getting tickets and to someone who tried and didn’t get them, that sure means so much. I’m so devastated but incredibly happy for every true and loyal fan that was able to get them. I have noticed that everyone is so nice, uplifting, and wants to help other fans and that part helps when you are so down in the dumps. As a old Mama Swiftie I just want to hug everyone and I’m proud to see young women and men being so kind towards each other. Love your videos Nena and thank you for being a positive light!! I got tickets to the opening show (which also happened to be in my hometown) and I literally cannot wait! I’m all the way up in section 435 but at this point after seeing all the struggle literally everyone who attempted to purchase tickets faced I’m so grateful! I couldn’t get the tickets on the presale or capital one day and then the general sale got cancelled and I was terrified I wouldn’t be able to go, but thankfully my best friend knew someone who was selling hers for the original prince she got them for, as she couldn’t make it.

I completely understand what you meant at the very beginning of the video when you talked about how you were stressed and frustrated and you didn't realize that there were so many people who couldn't even get tickets. I felt the exact same way. I was super angry and frustrated at Ticketmaster the day of and my boyfriend was like at least you got tickets. I try to explain to him that it's never been like this before and it should not have been like that. It wasn't until a few days later when I said "Oh actually you're right I am super grateful that I got tickets because there are so many people who couldn't". But I think I feel this way because it has never been this bad when buying Taylor tickets before. I had the expectation that it would be fine because every other time it was

I really appreciated this video. I was one of the people who waited the 6+ hours to walk away with nothing. Thank you for your sharing your empathy with us.. Noone owes anyone an explanation on why they deserve tickets, but like you said a lot of us are fueled with a lot of emotions we weren't expecting when so many have been looking forward to this to feel completely let down. Hi, Nena, I never really comment but today I want to. As much as I can understand the frustration of the ones who didn't get tickets, I cannot understand why they won't be happy for the ones who did? I myself don't even know if she will come to my country, or how many dates there will be if she comes. If she does, it's going to be a blood bath and I'll be very sad and frustrated if I can't get tickets, but that doesn't mean I won't be happy for the ones who can. I cried and got excited when I saw you video, cause I was rooting for you and I'm so very happy that you can go, not to one but to two shows. Congrats! You surely deserve it!
Ticketmaster was the one who messed this whole thing up. They should be investigated and taken responsible and accountable, but, the real fans who got the tickets?? You're a real fan! You should be there! The problem is Ticketmaster promising and not delivering afterwards. And, also, scalpers. I really don't understand how this always happens, but, as an ARMY, I've also seen a lot of crazy reselling and that needs to stop, because it's scalpers and the monopoly who are messing with the fans that cannot go to the concerts, not the real fans who are lucky enough to get the tickets!
That being said, I hope you enjoy your shows a lot. You deserve it so much. Please, don't feel guilty and be happy about your tickets^^

I am so lucky that I got two tickets on the capital one presale because it failed for me on the first general sale. My aunt actually stood in line all day both days and she was lucky enough to get me two floor tickets for me and my sister :)

I have followed Taylor for 15 years but have never had the ability to go to a show…. This week was a mess. Plus I am 36 weeks pregnant so I am already a mess. But I got very lucky. My AMAZING cousin snagged 3 LAST ROW tickets to our closest show. So I will get to see Taylor for the first time AND I will get to take my 7 year old daughter to her first ever concert 🥹
Girl you don't need to apologize! You got tickets to an artist you love, it's not like you're a scalper or reseller (that's the real issue). I've never been to any of her concerts and signed up hours before it ended and got a code. Was surprised but couldn't spend more than 30 min at work trying. Glad I didn't call off work. It would have been even worse to lose money by not working AND not get tickets. Congrats on getting some.
I've been feeling kinda guilty as a brazilian swiftie that I was able to bought 2 tickets to the last concert, like I was taking from american swifties. But I've been fan of her since Fearless came out and the only open show she ever announced in Brazil was Lover tour and was cancelled. Idk if she's gonna come with the international leg and I've been waiting for an opportunity to see her for 14 years. Mixed feelings of happiness for myself and frustration for other swifties for this ticketmaster shitshow.
I was also lucky enough to buy tickets 2x. I gave a pair to a friend that wasn’t able to get tickets. It’s just upsetting to see the whole stadium lit up like a Christmas tree on these resale websites because so many bots and scalpers bought tickets, while fans left empty-handed. I hope Taylor’s camp can do something similar to what Ed Sheeran did for those resale tickets. Wondering where you heard that Taylor opted out of dynamic pricing? I thought these was dynamic pricing since the tickets prices varies so widely for a section, but I guess that was all due to the VIP scam packages?

I'm an Aussie swiftie so I wasn't involved whatsoever in this pre-sale ticket buying craziness, but I can say that I feel awful for all the American swifties who went through all this stress & chaos. For those who were able to buy tickets (like Nena), I'm so happy for you and you deserve to feel excited no matter what anyone else says. For those who weren't able to buy, I'm so sorry, it's not your fault. We all just love Taylor and wanna see her in concert, but sadly, sometimes circumstances are out of our control and this isn't able to happen. I have never even attempted to secure tickets for one of her past concerts, however just from seeing the news & watching this video, I can see how much Ticketmaster messed up and I'm glad they're being investigated because they've truly let down so many people & could have handled this situation so much better. Hopefully, something good comes out of this disaster and we can pray that it never happens again!

I had the same experience with my code not working to actually "unlock" the seats so after waiting 6 hours to get in I had to sit for 20 minutes and watch almost all the tickets disappear before my eyes until my code finally decided to work (after I pressed enter about a million times) but by then there were only nosebleeds left. At the time I was more mad than anything because I could have easily gotten bowl tickets if ticketmaster had actually worked. Now with everything I am just grateful and feel very lucky to have gotten seats at all.
I spent the whole day trying to get tickets. What a mess! Had a code but never could check out after selecting seats. Have fun at the concert - “ I bet you think about me!”😂
Also, I think TicketMaster probably let all their own bots in to buy them up before fans so they could resell them during presale because Taylor opted out of dynamic pricing. They needed a workaround so they could make more money off a tour they knew would be in high demand. That’s why they didn’t do the usual captcha and entering the code beforehand, so bots could purposely get in
Most definitely : there’s like hundreds of tickets on the resale sites and it’s SUCH BS. If the tickets were gone at presale they should’ve only gone to swifties .
The “ticket in the cart grab” thing happened to me in Seattle as well. Snatched my good tickets (lower bowl) and threw me back into the arena, where I paid for nosebleeds at 3x the value. It was crazy.
Hey! Happy Thanksgiving! Who knows if you’ll see this because you get so many comments but I’m happy for you and I don’t think people should give you a hard time about getting tickets. You are lucky and you know that. I don’t use TikTok or Instagram just Twitter and Taylor gets so many tweets Taylor nation never notices me. I’ve been a Swifty since 2006. I wish I was able to go to Massachusetts shows but I just have to hold onto the fact that at some point I will see you and meet her again someday I am blind and that was a dictation mistake. I would love to meet you though! Someday I will see Taylor again.
So, What happend for me was my mom sat at presale for 12 hours and then, she couldnt get tickets and the capital one presale was rescheduled. My mom wasnt able to get tickets the day after We found tickets on ebay for 2200$ for lower bowl seats on the 6th in nashville! I live in baton rouge so were flying but im happy you also got tickets to nashville!! Maybe i'll see you fellow swiftie! love you nena ❤❤
I didn’t get tickets but I got the fan verified but it kept glitching when I tried purchasing out . But it’s ok . I went to her speak now ( when I first became a swiftie ) and rep tour . And I tell myself that she loves her fans she loves us so I will see her again someday on tour and I’m very excited for when that comes 💜

do you know if there was any validity in that email that gave a boost to the people that bought merch? i had 2 accounts and one got the email and one didn’t, and the one that i did was the one that i was actually able to secure tickets with. maybe it was just luck but idk 🤷♀️
I actually had no problem getting a ticket. A floor seat too. Was in queue less than 10 minutes and messed around in ticket selection for another 10 minutes but still got one. Of course after that the site wouldn't load the rest of the day but I guess I was lucky. Unfortunately I'm going alone for my first ever concert but I hope I have fun.

listening to how they SHOULD have done it makes me SO angry cause I'm West Coast but i wanted tickets for Philly and so i woke up at 630am just to enter and i was in queue for HOURS and HOURS, i got kicked out then had to re enter
it was madness, but when i finally got in there there i kept clicking and clicking and clicking and clicking until there was nothing left
i was lucky to even be able to get tickets for Santa Clara and at first i was kind of upset i didn't get floor seats like i wanted when i went to Twitter and saw how bad it was I'm glad i got anything at all
I was heartbroken that despite boosts, etc I didn't even get into pre-sale..not that that would've helped evidently. I'm so sad for all of my fellow Swifties. Tickets for the show here are already $10k and 1k for nosebleeds behind the stage. I've decided to go see Lizzo and Ed Sheeran instead. I love Taylor but I can't afford to see her. TM messed with the wrong fandom, and they will be investigated now.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say again here, I think that TM told Taylor what they knew she wanted to hear, but I think Taylor and her team asking multiple times shows that their intuition was correct in that they doubted that TM could handle this load, hence why they asked multiple times. it shows too that Taylor is right to not to be able to trust any outsiders with her fans and treating them right. TM doesn’t care about Taylor or her fans, sadly to them it’s a business transaction and what they really care is about making money, and not much else 😂
I agree with so much of what you have said, and I feel like TMs utter failure almost seems like a set up to pit fans and Taylor and to discredit her. A lot of people are talking about how greedy Taylor is for selling tickets for such a high price 🙄 And people are buying into it and falling for it.
Now that I’m over my initial bitterness, I’m happy for anyone that have gotten tickets. And I’m sorry if you felt I came across as bitchy. I’m not trying to be.

I had verified fan and got an email saying I was selected for a code but NEVER got the code 😡 Thank god my sister in Law got her code and we somehow got 2 tickets. But yeah, Rep and Lover Fest were not like this at all. And I was one of those that bought Rep 2 weeks out and paid face value. We were in the tippy top of the Rose Bowl but we had a blast! I really hope Ticketmaster has to answer for this somehow.
Ed had it all figured out. I was not apart of his ticket sale but it seems as if it was a pleasant experience for fans who were.
I was wondering is the 500 row seats worth buying. Are the 100 row seats worth the extra money or will I be happy with the 500 seats.
Do you think stub hub tickets will go down in price soon? In LA floor seats are as low as 1k which is expensive but not as bad as I’ve heard
They say that they usually go down the 2-3 weeks prior to the show and get lower and lower each day it gets closer

You going to multiple shows is no issue. If you have the chance then do it. You've been a fan for years and I think it's perfectly reasonable to go to multiple shows. I'm going to three shows in Sydney and similar to you, when the resale starts I'm trying for the one show I didn't get tickets to (I hadn't tried for that particular show so I didn't miss out. I simply didn't try because I figured three was enough but now I want the other show so I see every Sydney show).
With 1989 World Tour I got tickets a few months after the on sale. Then with Reputation I had a lower reserve ticket and bought a higher reserve ON THE DAY of the concert. That would never happen now.
I tried to get tickets for Lover and didn’t get any. I didn’t get tickets for Eras either. I was approved for pre sale. Tried all day. Nothing. Im glad you got tickets. I am considering buying tickets through Vivid or Stub Hub just to see her. Im trying to decide if I want to pay $800 a ticket through them.
There was a Tik Tok video where this girl was talking about how you could get through without a code. Some seats had locks on them and some didn't. With the ones that didn't, people could get the seats really easily. I think that bullcrap should be stopped as well.
There’s literally tickets available for EVERY show in almost ever section on stubhub, seat geek etc. but even if the website was malfunctioning : then NOBODY should’ve gotten tickets , not presale verified fans OR bots or scammers … the fact that the site “malfunctioned” but there’s still TONS of resale tickets … I call full BS .
I think this tour, of all of them, will have different versions so def don’t think it’s an issue to be going to more than one. I also think closer to the time there will be tix available. Sorry you’re feeling bullied.
There was a lot of backlash against the rep system… yes it worked for those with time or money but not everyone was happy with it and it was seen as TS being greedy.
I think it was not 14 million people it was 14 million devices as lots of people with codes tried to log on with multiple devices that added to the Mayhem
Honestly if you didn't get two tickets is most likely they would be going to scalpers and not to Swifties. The problem is not the people who were able to get tickets, it is ticketmaster and their thing with resellers 🤷♀️ Don't feel bad about getting two tickets, that's awesome for you and who is complaining is just a troll! Honestly… I never saw Ticketmaster stating that they were going to give priority to loverfest ticket holders. I do however remember TaylorNation sending out an email that said that Ticketmaster was going to give boosts for being part of a “historic week” and that loverfest ticket holders got a TaylorNation email saying they were going to have an extra boost. I might be wrong though. Please correct me if I am.

I didn’t get verified, I was put on the wait list so I didn’t even log on. Luckily my sister has a capitol one card and secured our tickets. I feel so bad for everyone who didn’t stand a chance 😢

I don't know why I should celebrate someone going to 2 shows when I'm going to 0. I'd be happy for the people going to 1 show, but when there are so many people wanting more than anything to see Taylor just once and you go twice, that feels wrong to me. I'm glad you got tickets for 1 show but do you really need tickets for a second one? I love Taylor more than anything and have poured so much time, energy, and money into her music and I've never ever been to a show. It breaks my heart that I won't get to see her on this tour, and I have no idea If she'll ever go on tour again.
Part of me hopes that somehow they get the tickets back from the resellers and they redo the sale
I'll probably never see her live because my country is too small, but this breaks my heart. Also, everybody who's reselling should get their money back - and lose their tickets. The reselling model has been too profitable for Ticket Master, for too long.
