In Italy, especially places like Calabria, Naples and Sicily the Mafia is very powerful. Even more so than the American Mafia. Unlike their American cousins they have no qualms about killing cops, judges, lawyers or politicians.

I like how they handle their business with force without flexing. They let their actions speak for itself.
Only reason they werent caught is because the government was a part of the mafia. These guys werent tough nore were they that smart. They killed guys who investigated them. Now, ive never been in the government but i, ssitting here at home could solve that problem. Issue round the clock security for everyone involved with the investigation. But why didnt they do that? Because the government was in on it all

My family used to be. My grandfather is full blood Italian from New York. His family was very involved, but unfortunately they hid all of the stories and details from everyone to keep them safe after they left New York. Just a couple stories survived.
