"Humanity has done worse" Just that comment alone is a massive red flag. I'm a woman, I teared up too. She's even worse for treating OP like crap after that, especially the comment about "not knowing she married a woman"

I'm uncomfortable with the level of sociopath that is just normal in society that this is just disgusting

The commons give me hope but Jesus Christ people who honestly think that it's abnormal to cry for people because you don't really know them are just psychotic

The man is normal; the woman is not. I got sad hearing that story and I wasn’t even there. Her lack of empathy is terrifying.

Story ends at 3:20. The rest of the video is Redditor comments. No update.

Sounds like my mom. She could tolerate me crying after my dad passed for 1 year, after that she became annoyed. And if anyone cries in a movie we're watching together, she becomes very annoyed/angry 😋 No mental health issues at all off course now 🙄

I mean... it is kind of weird that he cried there, like unless he had family that died there. But after that, though, the constant disrespect is a real problem.

Gonna have to respectfully disagree with you, they have a warning of the place not being for the feint of heart.
That means a LOT of people have had an emotional reaction to it, so it stands to reason it is common to have people cry, vomit, faint, etc; right there on the spot.

Absolutely not, specially for visual thinker and people with lots of empathy it is pretty natural to have an emotional reaction to literal inhumane things

It is kinda weird that you are trying to police other's emotions.
Try growing up. It may help.

How am I trying to 'pOLicE' the emotions of some guy I'll never meet? Sounds like to me you need to pull the stick out of your ass.

Yeah it's over. Women instantly lose respect for you if you cry in front of her. You could be grieving the loss of a parent and she will still brutally test you. Only way out is a break-up. And no guys you can't avoid this problem finding a different girl that "isn't like that" they all are. Only difference is how they respond to your perceived "weakness". Some might do what OP gf did. Other girls, cheat and dare you to do something about it. Yeah guys never cry in front of your "girl" (as if)...
Also to all the ladies lying on reddit. Yeah the fact that none of them admit that more women act like this when a man shows any type of emotion than women who do not, and them knowing it, all the advice and scenarios they give, useless even and especially if it's true. Notice the "many women aren't like this." Well since there's way more women who do worse than this with emotional men, what are the odds he'll end up with a woman worse or just as bad.

The wife in this story is the absolute asshole and there are more women like that, but completely doubling down and saying that no men could ever cry in front of a woman is in no way true. When my boyfriend cried, I held him and told him that it was okay, because it is okay to cry over terrible things and it's what makes us human. Normal, empathetic people know this, as was mentioned in the comments in the video. Having emotions is not weak, it just shows who you are as a person and what you find important in life. I, and many others, will not shame you for showing them.

@@anne-joy1986 can I ask a serious question? How come so many girls say "many" girls wouldn't when it's a horrifyingly small number of women that wouldn't? We'll be lucky if y'all don't denigrate us as less than filth for making the mistake of "opening up" and showing our emotions. And yes there's more women who'll cheat on / leave a man she catches crying even if it's over the loss of a loved one than women who wouldn't. I'm not saying there aren't girls who wouldn't do something like or retaliate in any way that over her spouses tears, but they're so much a rarity we as men will believe unicorns squishing out with magical rainbows and pots of gold before we believe we can open up to even our sisters mothers gfs etc. You get the picture. Please don't sit there and pretend y'all wouldn't rather us pass away on top of that horse before we come off that horse even for a breather for a second. If what you say is true, your BF will never know that pain, because again assuming you're telling the truth, you're there to work with him and compliment his life. 64% of us are done and that number is growing worldwide. I mean Japan has birth rates so low there's a crisis. 75 grand to make babies and so far very few guys have yet to take that on. Google is a powerful(ish) tool you can use if you don't believe me. The damage is done and it's a global boycott growing as we type. You'd do well to focus on your relationship. You screw this up with your current BF and You're not getting another chance. You're not helping matters feeding the same disparity or indifference to the world we're forced to see clearly the latter.

Incorrect. I am a woman and I help my boyfriend when he cries. We have been together for years. Really hope to get your head out of your ass soon.

@@anne-joy1986 Unfortunately you're wrong. Crying in front of a woman is showing weakness - a deep to the bone, to the primal brain, turn off. I've seen guys in solid relationships get beat up or punked out and their chick, if present, is halfway out the door and onto the next.
