hello again my friend..i would just make another request..can you make another video on how to change the service belt on a smart 453?the V Belt..thank you in advance and keep the good work...
thank you very much for the tutorial...but is the turbo model smart 453 also the same as the normal 453 model?because mine has yellow coolant on it...does the valve location also the same?thank you very much again...keep up the good work..
And u only need to start the car to let the oil cycle through the gears ⚙️ after that it doesn’t matter if it’s running or not I didn’t see any difference on the level.
hello my friend,i just want to ask if i can use an oil extractor to extract the coolant..by attaching a hose to the valve, while adding first demineralized water to clean it and then adding the new coolant then..thank you..
U can do that, but the problem is that you won’t get the coolant that’s inside the engine past the thermostat that’s why I turn on the car to operating temperature with the water hose connected.
Pre 2014 means 2014 and before. If people really do want to follow this questionable method, at least pre-mix the coolant to a 50:50 ratio. Using 100% concentrate will lower the boiling point of the fluid, reducing the cooling ability of the car. The majority of the cooling is done by the water, this additive is just to stop it freezing, to add corrosion inhibitors and to stop organic matter growing in the system.
Yes it is, but I choose this one because is more oily and that’s what I was looking for. And for the dilution I didn’t because I used straight water to flush it out, but that’s why I mention that I can add water . Regards.
Question: I have had the coolant changed to the recommended Zerex G40. My operating temperature changes a tiny bit throughout driving, which I never noticed beforehand. The gasket is fine. I'm not positive about the thermostat, but heat and air work well. The car has not overheated, so I'm guessing air. So how do I make sure the air is completely out??
@@J.PROJECTZ another question that I’m concerned about with my 2016 453. Should my engine fan be running all the time or only when the engine reaches a certain temperature? I noticed your fan was running when you were checking for coolant leaks. Every once in a while, we will smell something that is hot after driving the car but the coolant temperature never indicates that the engine is hot. I’m wondering if the fan has to run continuously or only at certain temperatures. The coolant temperature runs slightly above 180 but the little fan in the engine compartment is not operating.
@J.PROJECTZ ok Thanks I did over fill the radiator bowl with anti freeze just over max . When noticed leaking underneath. Those manufacturers clips look difficult one on each pipe can you reuse them?
I've seen some butchery things before, but this is amazing. Wow! Coolant just shooting into the rear bonnet area.
That’s correct !! at the end I just rinse the whole compartment and boom!! no more coolant anywhere
Regards.

Yes I explained that in the video you’re correct

How do you change the thermostat in this same car?
Making a video soon stay tuned
Bro thx for the video did you use tap water to mix 50/50 ?
No, u have to use distilled water. Or you can buy the coolant that’s 50/50 and ready to use.

Ok. While the car is running with the heater on or a different way? What do you mean "clean"? Smooth? No bubbles? (I do not need to open the back?)
