meanwhile, in a universe where the ym2413 was paired with the sn76489 for the sega genesis...

I think that existed in Sega Mark III, but it was like a Sega Master System.

The actual YM3812 would’ve been a nice chip for the Genesis. So many channels!

@@RyumaXtheXKing F262 would be better than the 3812 imo. It's got twice as many channels and also has more features aha

@@autumnbrushtail sure, you could also put a DX7 in there or a Moog or all of the above, but this is supposed to be a affordable console.

@@RyumaXtheXKing Moogs and the DX7 are monotimbral by design, they wouldn't work. also, Weren't Soundblaster Pro 2s cheaper alternatives to MIDI modules on PC?

Awesome! I love how it starts off with the OPLL, then the SN7, and then with all of them playing simultaneously. :D

It is noticeable that you have extracted the maximum potential of both chips, by the custom drums of the YM2413, and by the periodic noise of the SN76489. I really liked the effort

Ahhh your work is always relentlessly refreshing and whimsical moreover listened. Whether through intention or not, I love how many implications reside through your general attachment with music. Your alchemy with both of these chips (especially regressing into sn76489) in their mixing is culminated and beautifully executed; of what also appears between resonance in your composition, which you pose good knack for employing! It keeps aspiring me at some point for putting music on my own channel at some point. Amazing work as always, as happy listening! :)

coming back to this and honestly i think this is one of the best tunes youve wrote so far, with all the fancy parts and the way the instruments sound... its also very nostalgic cause i feel its written like a early/late 2000s pop song and thats the kinda music i grew up with on the radio, which makes the name very fitting :)
