- Sleeping Beauty has a daughter! And it's her birthday! Aurora and Prince Phillip surprise her with cake, presents and a new dress, and the good fairies Flora, Fauna and Merryweather join the celebration too 💗
Hi everyone^____^ This edit is one of the most requested Princess edits of all time :) Sleeping Beauty has a daughter! Aurora is one of the oldest Disney princesses and Disney never really continued her official story, except for in books and crossovers with other Disney princesses, so I think it's about time we see more of Sleeping Beauty's happy ever after^^
My idea for this is that Aurora and Prince Phillip are usually so busy taking care of the kingdom that when their daughter is about to have her birthday, they decide to go on holiday in the forest cottage, so they can spend time as a family^___^ I think Sleeping Beauty as a mother will be kind, sing a LOT of Disney songs and teach about plants and animals, as she grew up with the fairies in the forest.
Also, in my fairytale version, somehow Maleficent survived the big showdown in the classic Sleeping Beauty movie and she is spying on Aurora, trying to come up with a new scheme to take over the kingdom.

So so so perfect 😍😍😍!!! In my fanfic/drawings I have give them a son first that looks like Philip and a daughter that looks like exactly like your drawing. Girl its like youvatecin my mind!!! I thought the same thing about her dress being purple and also about her hair being that colour!!!. I named her Sunrise (Aurora you know) 😉.
Brianna it could be a good name from her, in honor of Aurora's codename, Briar Rose. I liked that you drew her having inherited her mother's features, but with her father's hair tone. She would probably be as dreamy and sweet as Aurora, but she would have Philip's honorable courage.

Aurora my favourite princess and Maleficenta too
Sleeping Beauty is my second favorite princess. Phillip is my favorite prince however! I like Maleficent looking in through the window! Lol! I agree they didn't continue her story. However I feel it's interesting to note that Maleficent got a second and is the only on of the "remakes" to get a second movie. Then Sleeping Beauty was (maybe besides Snow White?) the only one that didn't get a second movie. Maybe another flower? Daisy? Iris? Something? Lol! I don't know how to name things!
Heh glad you like the Maleficent looking in^^ I was a tiiiny bit afraid if I would get bad comments about it, it not being canon and all :) Yes, it is really weird that Maleficent get 2, while the actual princess only got 1. I had never thought of it that way O.o I feel Disney made this amazing princess and then just abandoned her, to make room for the fairies. Aurora is almost like a side character in her own movie :O she is barely even in it.
oh and by the way, many people mentioned the names from the old Perrault fairytale version - Dawn and Day, the children of the prince and princess :) Those are my favorite names so far

Like in the pirate fairy how Zarina had switched the fairies of their talents, what if she did it to Tinkerbell and her sister Periwinkle and Tink became a frost fairy while Peri became a tinker fairy? What do you think of that idea? The choice is yours, but I would very much like to see that kind of edit. Especially since you are the talented on making these gorgeous videos here.

You know? There's printed media that gives continuity to Sleeping Beauty! There's a story about their wedding, another about Aurora's 17th birthday, there's even one where Maleficent return's!

Hi Alylay :) Thank you^___^ Disney's Sleeping Beauty has several origin stories - the French one by Perrault, the German one by Grimm and a third one in which she is called Talia. I dont know which one is the "real one", as they were told by word of mouth first until the story was written down :) I grew up with the Grimm version, so I never heard about the story with the ogre mom and the twins until a few years ago. Its so scary, I kinda pretend that version doesnt exist, lol xD

This is great! I think her name should be Jour because in Perrault's version Sleeping Beauty has twins Aurore (Dawn) and Jour (Day). Since the Disney version named the princess Aurora it is only fitting to name her daughter Jour or it could be Briar because of her secret name Briar Rose.
