Been on repeat all of 2024. Absolutely beautiful rendition of this hymn.
Im very grateful to hear these old hymns nearly at 10 pm, thank you. Ive had many storms recently and they have brought me before my Lord God. Whatever the enemy uses to harm us, it only takes us to our Father and God. As this world abounds in sorrow and difficulties, sin increases, it gets darker, its onky a blessing to know we are citizens of heaven and passing by on earth. I cant wait to go home.
❤🙌🙏❤️
Chosen by God 😢😮😅😊
I went to Boyce with the lead singer. Every now and then me and some other guys used to play Bluegrass Gospel songs with him on the top floor of Mullins hall. Those were fun times.
Nice,..when you use your musical gifts to sing praise to our Father.
Thank you. This is the one
I feel like listening to this song over and over again....I'm highly Blessed. Thank you.
🎶🙌❤
VERSE 1
He leadeth me: O blessed thought!
O words with heavenly comfort fraught!
Whate'er I do, where'er I be,
still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me.
VERSE 2
Sometimes mid scenes of deepest gloom,
sometimes where Eden's flowers bloom,
by waters calm, o'er troubled sea,
still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me.
CHORUS
He leadeth me, he leadeth me;
by his own hand he leadeth me:
his faithful follower I would be,
for by his hand he leadeth me.
VERSE 3
Lord, I would clasp thy hand in mine,
nor ever murmur nor repine;
content, whatever lot I see,
since 'tis my God that leadeth me.
VERSE 4
And when my task on earth is done,
when, by thy grace, the victory's won,
e'en death's cold wave I will not flee,
since God through Jordan leadeth me.
very hard time but singing it's great prayer and joyful and my heart.
This song always keep pushing me forward ♥️♥️♥️

They have the perfect blend of modernization and respect for the original material. Excellent work, young folks!

🧎🏾♀️🙌🏾🔥
Love the use of astera/quasar tubes, they make for a great key and practical light. What camera was this shot on?
Thanks for noticing! We shot with Panasonic S1s.
Wish you had sang bowers, not flowers in verse two... Great job though.
I printed these lyrics out before and thought that bowers was a typo. Thank you for pointing this out :)
@@wbrertton453 No prob. Yeah bowers - is honestly a more theologically rich word to use here. It implies a naturally occurring - i.e. - not cultivated shady place. Really emphasizing that often, we are blessed with shelter and shade, not just beauty. Beauty is good too - but a "blooming bower" means all three. Flowers are just beautiful ha-ha.

Nice for a performance but not in a worship service.
