I wonder how old Aqua was when this happened, because I have a very similar story. I remember a girl in school (Or highschool in freedom speech) who got scolded harshly by our art teacher. We were 16 years old on average. Public humiliations were a thing back then (nuns school) and most of us had been executed at least once, so we didn't put more pressure on the person standing on the gallows by laughing or anything of the sort. So this art teacher kept telling my friend that she wasn't putting enough effort, going on a tangent, up to the point where he began comparing her work to another student: The girl who was regularly top of the class, a mini-genius, great with everything. You know what this madlass did? She said: "Teacher, I don't understand why you're so upset, I love her drawing. Sure, it's not what you asked for exactly, but it's still her own interpretation." That teacher died inside that day. It turned out that this teacher did the same in other classes to fuel his pathetic ego, but there was no one to stand up to him. He was fired a few years later but he managed to poison four generations of students before being laid off. I fell in love with that girl. Asked her out, got rejected. 10/10 would ask her out again. I wish there were more people like her.
No matter how long or short it took. He shouldn't do that. You never ever shouldn't humiliate anyone no matter what position you are in. He thinks the other students will do better than her because of that? NO. His point would just go through their heads and instead the main focus would be the entire class laughing at her for not doing well.
I remember something similar in class where this person was getting flamed infront of everyone for not putting much effort but when the teacher said "This looks like you did it in 5 minutes" he responded with "Nope I did it in 1" 💀
I can relate, and this hurts. For two months in high school, I was being publicly embarrased to the point that only a small thread of morality was holding me back from beating the shit out of them, but eventually I got over it.
I have experienced going through night tuition with a bunch of kids and whenever we did wrong, the teacher would pull our ears or would be flicked and some might get a little slap to cheek. It wasn't hard but it was traumatizing seeing that done to others and to myself. Sure the grades after that night tution was great, but it left me scarred even today. I wouldn't asks anyone to teach me unless i REALLY don't know that subject and it kinda made me afraid to asks help for someone to teach me. I tried changing now, but it'll take time because most of the time i will study alone.
yeah still remember that awful public humiliation I got from my teacher I am an introvert I was feeling down at that time and didn't really do well in class. my teacher scolded me for my work in front of everyone and she hit me in the head with a pencil class I know it wasn't that hard or painful but still, it hit me emotionally pretty hard then everyone laughed at me after that I just sat down and looked at my best friend holding back tears because I didn't want the situation to get worst so my best friend taps my back and said "it's Ok" so I felt ok for a bit then got home and cried away my pain in bed with a pillow.
When I moved from a private school to a public school when I was ten, I didn't know class started 30 mins before so you could eat breakfast. I got there late, was scolded and put in a desk facing the class while I ate because there were no more desks. That teacher would yell at kids to tears when they forgot their homework. She became principle when I transferred out of the school.
I got called out in class alot as a kid, for various things both good and bad, and honestly it helped me get out of being a massive introvert, now I'm only a little introverted
I had the same experience in school, only problem was I wasn't that good at drawing faces because I didn't have a single creative bone in my body, I got scolded because I didn't draw my own face to the right proportions. What the heck was that teacher expecting, I'm not an art student, this was a mandatory art class. One of the few teachers that I genuinely disliked.
True, depending on the assignment, some art assingments can be done in 5 minutes, and if you're marine or not will determine if you'll get away with it
My teachers would straight up physically beat me up in front of the whole class. I had a teacher who would slap me and several other kids for no reason. I had a teacher threaten me with my grades if I even dared to complain to my parents about them. Because of this I was scared of all teachers, even the ones who were actually nice.
I once have a drawing teacher who outright tell me that my drawing is worst than kindergartner, in front of the class. Ever since then I refuse to pick up my pencil to draw again.
Honestly, one could argue that art is subjective and this makes her art unique and different from the others, thus even making the teacher notice her art.
It's not just a problem for kids, two different *college professors* did this to me. It still hurts at that age. The first time was a science professor (I don't remember the exact class) shaming me for using "fancy talk" in my notes. Seriously, NOTES, not even for anything I was going to turn in! The worst part is that the "fancy talk" that he took offense to was "parameters." I'm not joking. A *college science professor* took offense to the word "parameters" because he thought it was "too fancy" and felt the need to grab my notebook, hold it up, and call me out to the class for it. This one didn't hurt because of how pathetic it was. I lost all respect for him in that moment and he never even _began_ to earn it back. The aura of "how stupid is this teacher?" coming from my classmates was palpable. The second, however, did hurt. It was a math teacher (also don't remember the exact class) who thought one of my answers on a homework assignment was so stupid he had to share it. At least he didn't mention my name, but it still hurt so bad I felt like crying. (Yes, it really was wrong, but I assert that it was reasonably so)
I've experienced something like this only it occurred during my third semester at university. I got called out and humiliated by the lecturer in front of the class, he told me to just quit the class and retry the next semester when I finally got serious to learn. Ironically this is the catalyst of my anxiety attacks, so now everytime I got a meeting about something important my anxiety always kicks in like crazy

I remember something similar in class where this person was getting flamed infront of everyone for not putting much effort but when the teacher said "This looks like you did it in 5 minutes" he responded with "Nope I did it in 1" 💀
It was meant to be a public execution, but baqua being baqua: "Nope, I did it in 5 minutes"
Just Jork
Aqua being Scolded because of her drawing
Al Europe people : *PTSD
I can relate, and this hurts. For two months in high school, I was being publicly embarrased to the point that only a small thread of morality was holding me back from beating the shit out of them, but eventually I got over it.
It's like watching an anime with subtitle XD
I thought it was going to be a plot twist and the teacher was gonna say: "Among the works that everyone drew, this is the best"
HEY
ATLEAST IT TOOK HER 5 MINUTES
I WOULD HAVE TAKEN WEEKS
Hey kudos to you, you can at least draw a face
I got public executed for my hand writing ever since kindergarten so I am now both traumatized and used to it at the same time
Gotta learn how to take Ls early , Aqua is really good for looking back and just laughing it off
The onion rejected by the art teacher...
*Oh no...*
I tried changing now, but it'll take time because most of the time i will study alone.
yeah still remember that awful public humiliation I got from my teacher I am an introvert
I was feeling down at that time and didn't really do well in class. my teacher scolded me for my work in front of everyone and she hit me in the head with a pencil class I know it wasn't that hard or painful but still, it hit me emotionally pretty hard then everyone laughed at me after that I just sat down and looked at my best friend holding back tears because I didn't want the situation to get worst so my best friend taps my back and said "it's Ok" so I felt ok for a bit then got home and cried away my pain in bed with a pillow.
Good thing she applied to become a VTuber. Imagine if she applied for art school.
Even if she didn’t take that long, that’s horrible what the teacher did 😨
I had the same experience in school, only problem was I wasn't that good at drawing faces because I didn't have a single creative bone in my body, I got scolded because I didn't draw my own face to the right proportions. What the heck was that teacher expecting, I'm not an art student, this was a mandatory art class. One of the few teachers that I genuinely disliked.
Grab the pitchforks bois, we raiding someone's house tonight.
when you got scolded for drawing 10 minutes, but instead you got praised.
you know the last time I heard an art teacher kinda rejected a student things didn't aged well. he's lucky she's so calm.
True, depending on the assignment, some art assingments can be done in 5 minutes, and if you're marine or not will determine if you'll get away with it
I think teachers feel themselves waaaay too better than they actually are just because they work with the teenagers.
"you probably drew this in 10 minutes"
"Are you kidding? That's insultingly high"
The teacher grunts sound effects spot on
Aqua was crying because her teacher got wrong answer about how many Aqua has spent on drew
Poor Aqua...
Remember class, anything can be art
Except what Aqua drew today
Aqua has created the opposite of art
Aqua clip during her break is the best!!
I remember when i was scolded like this in art class too
......until i snapped and said "oh im sorry im not a fucking artist"
My teachers would straight up physically beat me up in front of the whole class. I had a teacher who would slap me and several other kids for no reason. I had a teacher threaten me with my grades if I even dared to complain to my parents about them. Because of this I was scared of all teachers, even the ones who were actually nice.
She should have listened to Mikoch and stayed home that day.
Man these always brighten my day, feel bad for the onion tho
"Okay, a simple 'wrong' would have done just fine."
i think this is probably one of the root cause of her social awkwardness poor onion
This teacher was literally the "opposite of art" meme.
And this is how you develop anxiety, folks.
I once have a drawing teacher who outright tell me that my drawing is worst than kindergartner, in front of the class.
Ever since then I refuse to pick up my pencil to draw again.
10 minutes? You are treating me too lightly sensei.
Honestly, one could argue that art is subjective and this makes her art unique and different from the others, thus even making the teacher notice her art.
I HAVE HEARD ENOUGH! I'll teach that teacher to mind his own business!!!
(Yes, it really was wrong, but I assert that it was reasonably so)
Teacher: Aqua made an opposite of art
*Press "F" to pay Respect*
I've experienced something like this only it occurred during my third semester at university. I got called out and humiliated by the lecturer in front of the class, he told me to just quit the class and retry the next semester when I finally got serious to learn. Ironically this is the catalyst of my anxiety attacks, so now everytime I got a meeting about something important my anxiety always kicks in like crazy
teachers like those enrage me beyond reason.
Well someone just proved they're an incompetent teacher...
People with time machines : Get him!
I hate that kind of teacher they just embarrassing their student
Sounds like the beginning of a social anxiety disorder to me
The teacher could have just admonished her in private, so as to not embarrass her unnecessarily, but no, he had to go out of his way to be an asshole.
Another day that a Mochimiko animation is posted is another day that im happy. Well done as always Mochimiko san!
Why school needs a complete reform, as an introvert I honestly can't face this feeling without dying inside
Teacher: this girl seriously just used 10 minutes to complete this drawing
Aqua: actually i used 5 minutes. Get your facts straight
I can't even draw a perfect circle
