I was raised by 2 PAC’s music. I was lost as a child and then dear mama was revealed to me like a miracle. Since then, I have understood what needed to be done, that was cared for my mother. From that knowledge, I became wise enough to graduate with 2 masters degrees. My goal was to care for my mom and my family, and I got that from listening to 2 PAC. Listen to « the rose that grew from the concrete », this men thought me how to be a responsible man. To this day I keep on listening to his music, never stopped.

Live in inner cities is certainly difficult with stagnant wages, rising homelessness and political issues. But it is particularly difficult for black youth and men who experience overpolicing and abuse. It is also particularly difficult on the black women who go unnoticed and become victims as well. These women love black men and have to suffer seeing the men in their be arrested and become another prisoner. Leaving single mothers to fend for themselves, 2pac's music spoke to a lot of those women's stories. He was a truly great man and artist, RIP.

To me rap has always been the bastardized version of hip hop. Its more crass and less of an emphasis is placed on skill and craftsmanship.
