A bad day of vacation is better than a good day at work! Those were paper wasps and they were just drinking... they drink a lot and use the liquid to create the pulp to build their nests... Thanks!
Amen! It was a fun day. Yeah, we get those wasps all the time around the house. I haven't been stung yet. My cousin once opened his filler cap to see one of their nests inside. He said the folks at Maverick got a good laugh at his dance when he ran away after knocking it down to fill up his rig!
Are those General tires stock on the Pro’s? Are they 31 or 32’s? I really liked Cooper ST Maxx in 265/75/16 on my last Tacoma, but Generals look good as well.
No, the factory are Goodyear Kevlar 265/70R16. These Generals were purchased for my Discovery 2 and have just under 10k miles on them. Since they are a superior tire, I had the tire shop swap them between my rigs. They are 265/75r16 and are slightly noisier than the goodyears. So far on my commute, I've seen a 0.5-1mpg loss with the larger load range Es, and at only 1" larger my speedometer is reading about 0.3 slow. I love them though, the performance and looks, all around a great tire. I have a first-impressions review of my Tacoma and you can see the factory goodyears. I agree, Grabbers, KO2s or ST Maxxs should be standard on Pros. Even off-roads, IMO.
Yes, agreed. Although the stock Goodyear Kevlar’s got me all the way around the Alpine Loop in CO, including Blackbear Pass with zero issues. I also noticed a 1 or 2 mpg loss when I switched to ST Maxx LR E.
Living the dream brother. ✨️
Hate when plans go sour! That waterfall looks like it would be pretty awesome when flowing. You may have to take me up to this one!
Let's wait until spring, it would be a great GX460 trip

No worries, 265/85/16. I'm going to try 255/85/16s next.
