    I'm a jeep person I've had 4 jeeps and just bought my first "used" Liberty. This is the cheapest best and most underrated vehicle out there. First off if you shop around you can get an 05-06 in the 7K range with less than 30 000 miles. The offroad capabillities will SMOKE any rav4, crv, or escape, and in the end its a jeep, the looks will make you smile...... They are also DEPENDABLE "don't listen to the haters, and if they brake down they are easy and cheap to fix......

    10k for that in 2012? I brought one for 600 recently and running like newer. Interesting. 🤔 But it's good SUV since 1993 Isuzu Rodeo 😢🙏🏻

    Hi I'm 14 and I get my permit this summer. My mom is going to buy me a car so I can drive in. however I would like for this to be my first car. Is this car a good beginners car? And is it cheap to buy?

      1) I do not sell cars.
      2) There's no one single word that this Jeep is for sale.
      3) This video was posted 7 (SEVEN) years ago! It could cost 10K ten years ago
      4) I do not sell cars :)

    • @MrMikeyx007
      @MrMikeyx007 8 лет назад

      well if it's down pouring like mad in the water's up by a foot yeah it's worth it they have a Jeep and there's some videos on here where they go through some really deep water although I would not want to go through some water that would get water in the cab but you can go through a lot deeper water with these Jeeps then like a sedan car where would suck up the water into your engine and blow out the whole bottom of your engine

    I'm told that the electric rear windows in Jeep Liberty's tend to malfunction (get stuck) a lot. Is that true?

      Yes, I had 3 out of 4 malfunction by 200k miles

    • @SSN515
      @SSN515 4 года назад +1

      Some do because of the plastic mounting brackets they used for the windows. I installed upgrade kits from 1A Auto on all 4 of mine to prevent any problems. Easy job with a few basic tools, took 1 warm spring day, and cost 250 bucks total. If you don't go that route, just duct tape the failed window up if it happens and buy a repair kit for 40 bucks and install it in a couple of hours.

      @tomeisenmenger7048 3 года назад +1

      Yes. I, too, have replaced 3 of 4 electric window regulators in 110K miles / 16 years of ownership. It's a well-known problem for this model but the parts are cheap (usually around $50 each for the entire assembly) and there are plenty of RUclips vids to show you how to do the replacement.

    • @SSN515
      @SSN515 4 года назад +1

      Change the oil at 4k intervals with synthetic and the PCV valve to prevent gumming up the lifters and you are good to go. Mines got 200K on it and the only thing major I've done is change out the water pump, clutch fan as a preventative measure at 150k, and the plugs, fluids, etc. Easy as blazes to work on these things topside and underneath. Wide open spaces and parts are plenty and cheap.
