I can’t do sell call or puts on Robinhood . It will ask me to have 20-25k in my account or don’t have enough shares . I can’t afford that much to do sell call or puts . What should I do ?
To be fair the guys staring at a screen all day and stressing about the stocks that are said to be impossible to predict it’s a stressful job but he’s gettin the bag
The strike price is the agreed upon price from the seller and buyer of the option. It’s the price you anticipate the stock to move away/towards. Options are like stocks, they can be shorted (you can sell before you actually acquire the sharess/contract) this works in reverse from buying options. So for a short seller of a call option , this means that the price needs to decrease so that you can make a profit from the shares you sold at the market price. The opposite is for puts.
I have options contract of NVDA buy call at $405.00 AND $415.00, NVDA is now at $495.00. I want to excercise them and sell the same day but cannot afford. What do I do??
Nobody explains how they freaking work. If a stock is sitting at $75 a share and I buy a call option with a strike price at $65 for $12.30 a share. Do I have to front the $1230 immediately? If that’s the case let’s say I buy this option, now what? Do I own 100 shares now? Can I turn around and sell them? Do they sell for $65 a share or the current market value of $75 a share? Do I make $6500 or $7500??? How the hell do these work lol nobody wants to make a damn video explaining any of this.

Am still learning but this is what i know: if u buy a call with strike price of $65, and pay $12.30 a share and ths stock is trading at $75 now. Its in the money option. Yes you have to pay the premium which is $12.30×100=1230. You don't own the stock but you own the Right to take and sell the stock from the day of purchase to the EXPIRATION date. If you hold longer and the price of stock goes higher, say $90,you make more compared to selling immediately. Assuming it goes to $90 and you sell. You will tentatively make $9000 minus 1. 100×$65 which is your strike price. 2. $1230, which is the premium u paid. So u will make $9000-($6500+$1230) $9000 - $$7730.
@@chonerdude8581 think about it, if you truly spend all of your time making millions day trading, why sell your trades? it’s cause this scammer makes all of his money selling trades, not actually trading.

if this kid supposedly makes millions from trading, why sell a course? 🤔
Extra money. Teach others and having people follow his trades probably pumps the market a bit
