  • This video probably represents one of my greatest productions to date. Utilizing AI to turn words into pictures/art takes poetry/songs to another level. Granted they are still images that are generated for this. Movies of this sort, I believe, are in the future of AI, but will be a long time before it can create a 'meaning' of something that's born of words.
    Some thoughts on this production:
Starting from the beginning, the opening titles are generated by me as 3D objects. Next is a 3D avatar representation of The Hermit, that was mostly created/replicated by me, including the lantern, hands, feet, head and hair, including the textures. The robe and cane was created by Fotis Mint on MyMiniFactory.com; I added the textures.
The lyrics, were taken from the LP jacket/CD booklet that was included with the what is called the Led Zeppelin IV or Untitled album. There is no existing font, to date, that can exactly replicate the font used for that album. I suspect it was hand drawn in Calligraphy. I may attempt to make it a true font someday, but that will be a huge learning experience, but I really like the font, and would like to be able to share it someday.
The man floating in space above the earth is also a 3D avatar posed by me.
Most of the work/time spent on this video production was attempting to sync a live performance, from Earls Court on 24th May 1975. This video was found on the Internet Archive site, and uploaded to where I don't know, originally by Bob Marlei.
The synching was from a 360kbps bit rate song that was made in 2012, and its a Remaster of the original song, what I don't know is who did the Remaster? The inherent problems encountered are that a live version of a song often deviates from the studio version. For the most part it works, but nonetheless it was a challenge.
That video was/is in 1080p. I fine tuned it, took out what was an over saturation of most all the vids out there, including this one. This particular video I haven't found anywhere but where I got it from (Internet Archive). I also fine tuned it to make it as clear as possible as I wanted to mostly pay tribute to Jimmy Page for what I believe is one of the single best live performances in the history of Rock. This is not to understate Robert Plant's awesome lyrics.
I hope you enjoy this video, and your comments/feedback are highly welcomed.
