If there is any farm or builds you want us to make, leave a comment down below!
Does this farm have to be built on the main end island or can it be on the outer end islands? Or could you build a large platform in the end void and build this farm on that?
@@GSBlitzenThe farm can be built on the main island, in the void, the outer end islands and Even in the overworld. The reason it's built on the main end island is because of the big areas of flat surface, which gives you less work when flattening the area out
Remember to add a roof to the platform if you decide to make the farm in the overworld
@CrispyCraft Thanks a bunch man! I'm planning on building this on the server i play on too sell copper but i didnt want it in the way of other people in the end if i was afking it lol
@@GSBlitzenhh i get it. Just before you start making the farm, i would recomend investigating a littlebit to find out if your server has zombie reinforcements turned off or not. It can be a common thing for servers to turn off the feature due to the possibility of incresed lag. Be sure to ask if you are having any problems, and i'll try to give answers as soon as i can.
One really good thing that ianxofour didn’t mention is that this is probably the simplest high speed do farm since it can be built in like 5 mins
One pretty important thing you need to do is check to see if the location of your build site has a local difficulty of at least 3. To check your local difficulty, press F3 and go down until you see local difficulty.
great video! will use this in my superflt survival :)
Thanks!
Why are some people mad at a small channel showcasing a farm aswell as cutting to the chase? As the orginal video that this is based off actually went in depth about how everything worked, unlike how this channel just allowed veiwers to get a quick and simple tutorial on a farm instead of a lenghtly explanation.
there are timestamps, are you dumb
That's because Ianxofour's tutorial is actually perfect and covers any questions you may have about the farm. It is important to understand a farm before you build it.
Plus he's timestamped the video into different parts so that you can skip to the tutorial if you wanted.
If I make this in the overworld, and I make a platform off the ground etc, how far up is too far? And should I use bottom slabs for it to make it unspawnable outside of the actual farm?
Playing 1.19.2 this farm is so op for such a small farm lol watch out for those babies zombies make sure u close ur trapdoor qnd tip before putting the build in add a bacon of regen solves a lot of problems and saves on food
I totally agree, and thanks for letting everyone know!👍
@CrispyCraft no problem great little copper farm tho and not bad on levels either I been banking tons of levels in my xp obelisk and now jav plenty of copper for builds I now need a copper aging factory any ideas on that or is it just the usual 4 block spacing??
@@forzafan6924 i dont actually know if there are any copper aging factories that aren't crazy complicated.. i'll be sure to take a look at it and i'll get back to you. In the meantime i would just stick to your regular 4 block spacing
@CrispyCraft appreciate the responses and the help! I been watching RUclips videos of minecraft for over a decade and I've never subscribed to one channel I just hate qll the pop ups all the time but you ask questions to these people and never recieve a reply so after a decade man...u have earned my very first subscribe 😃 keep up the good work and keep on pushing I know aging a channel isn't always easy
@@forzafan6924 Wow. I almost don't know how to respond to that😅. But thanks so much! It's always nice and motivating to get support and feedback on videoes and especially from such a veteran like you! And btw i went through some copper aging farms, and they all seem to have large amounts of redstone. So in case you are not some crazy redstone maniac i think your best option would be just placing blocks manually with 4 blocks spacing👍 Good luck!
It doesn’t seem to work as there are no extra zombies spawning is there a specific time I should have to wait???
Or is there specific difficulty it should be on??
hi is it required to be in the end?
Would it be a good idea to put sweeping edge on the farming sword?
No. The farming sword makes sure that you spawn as many drowneds as possible.
No the sword can’t have sweeping edge or sharpness or the farm won’t work basically the mobs need to not take much damage so that they die slowly and have time to drown and summon reinforcements
do you HAVE to use glass or is there any block that can be used for it?
It has to be glass or any other non spawnable block to prevent zombies from spawning there. An alternative to glass could be leaves
Question, does this work on bedrock? Specifically on a realm. And does the sword ONLY need mending on it and nothing else?
Sorry, it does not work bedrock edition. This is because bedrock don't have the zombie reinforcement feature.
@@crispy_craft ah ok, thank you for telling me!
@@goalhornstudios8426 No problem!
if you have a minecraft autoclicker that use intervel as tick so do 44 ticks this will be equal to 2.2 secs
Does the farm need game difficulty turned on hard or that depends on local difficulty?
Yeah, it mostly Depends on the local difficulity which affects the rates. You can see your local difficlity right above the day counter when in f3. Higher local difficulity gives better rates, and local difficulity is incresed by overall playtime. Hope this helped! But a you Can Also try out having your difficulty on hard:)
Sorry, my buddy answered to your comment but he forgot to mention that the farm ONLY works in hard difficulity. This is due to the zombie reinforcements feature just being on hard difficulity. But as he mentioned, a higher local difficulity increses the rates (when on hard difficulity)
@@crispy_craft Thanks bro. I was about to give up trying and ask for help. I spent my day trying
Do torches impact the zombie's spawn rate?
Well yes and no. The torches stops reinforcements (zombies) from spawning, but this will just make them spawn somewhere else where there ls not torches. The reason torches are put on top of the pillars is to stop them from getting stuck and fill up the mob cap.
So short explained, torches will not affect the rates unless you cover up the whole ens island.
@@crispy_craft Thanks - I'd covered the end island in torches for a previous project, good that I asked before I wasted a load of time xD
Does this farm also drop tridents, nautica shells etc
No. Converted zombies will only drop copper.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I gather around 10 zombies into my pit and hit the armour stand every 2.2 seconds and it calls on some zombies but it kills them all before more spawn in
maybe you got sweeping edge. you probably deal too much damage
@user-yg1vq9tz7z sword was just a iron with mending, unbreaking and and looting 3
@@aloyhyrule5312 idk then maybe you gotta switch to hard like the game difficulty to hard because on easy or normal the farm doesnt work
@user-yg1vq9tz7z am hard mode too. Thanks for the advice tho, think I'm just unlucky
they don’t convert into drowned, is there a reason?
Can you do it in the overworld if you have a zombie spawner?
You don't need a zombie spawner to make it. The mechanics works the same in the end and in the overworld.
Just make a 3x3 chunk platform in the air with a roof on top and it will work the same as in the end. The farm is just made ln the end for convenience
Do you have to use an autoclicker when setting up the farm? I'm making this in a server so that would be against the rules.
You don’t need an auto clicker when using the farm. Just click every three seconds or so
Will building two of them increase rates.
No, the farm already spawns zombies at the maximum rate possible. Building another farm would not make sense
does this give 1400 copper ingots per hour?
Yes it does! Keep in mind that local difficulity affects the rates. You can see your local difficlity right above the day counter when in f3. Higher local difficulity gives better rates, and local difficulity is incresed by overall playtime. Hope this helped!
only work in end world?
The farm works in both the end and the overworld. If you want to build it in the overworld, you would have to make a 3*3 chunks platform to get similar rates. You would also need to make a roof over the platform so that zombies can spawn during the day
Mfv I dug out 3x3 chunks of space underground for this
i tried it like 5 times now but the zombies won,t call reinforcements
You need to be on hard difficulty otherwise zombies can’t spawn reinforcements
Does this still work in 1.20.1?
Yes, it still works in 1.20.1. Just make sure your difficulity is set to hard because it won't work otherwise.
how to afk
how to puch the arrmor stand when afk
Use an autoclicker
ur end island 2 enderman mine 136
Does this work in normal world in 1.20
Yup, works in every version after 1.17. Just make sure your world difficulity is set to hard👍
Does this work in 1.19+ or just 1.19
The farm works on any version newer than 1.17
@@crispy_craft *newer
does this work in the overworld
no
Is there any way to make it faster
You can make the farm faster by increasing your local difficulity. You do this by simply playing longer on your server. As mentioned in the video, you can also make the 3x3 chunk area flat. This helps to guide zombies into the farm thus making it faster
do it have to be in the end ??
The farm does not have to be in the end, but if you were to build it outside of the end you would have to light up all caves around it or build it in the air.
I was thinking doing it in the over world in the air on java
@@djj.t6906 it is fully possible but you will have to build a 3x3 chunk area so get similar rates as the one in the end. So its a lot of work
@@djj.t6906 also make sure to make a roof above the platform since the farm will not work without it
@@crispy_craft ok thank you and yeah thought it be 3x3 area and I got it sort the 3x3 area need someone more mats playing atm lol
it doesn't work the zombies will just die in 1.20.4
why no endermans?
zombie reinforcements dont count toward mob cap
Does it still work?
Yeah it should work on the newest version (1.20). But make sure to do the following steps so you dont miss out anything😊
Yup! It works in 1.17 and older.
Just make sure your world difficulity is set to hard because it wont work otherwise👍
well, it seem it doesnt work on paper server 1.19+ ...
it spawn , but way to slow
This is due to most public servers having decreased zombie reinforcements to prevent lag. If this is not the case, it might be that your local difficullity is too low
do you need an autoclicker?
Yes, use an autovlicker and set it to 1100ms. This is to maximize the rates of the farm
"super easy"
It does not work
Im sorry to hear that. Have you tried checking that your difficulity is set at hard? If that's not the case, it might be that you are playing on a server that has disabled the zombie reinforcement feature. Hope this helped!
Bedrock?
Im sorry to tell you that this only works on Java, due to there not being a zombie reinforcement mechanic on bedrock edition :/
What is this☠️☠️
Ianxofour already made this, and explained it better. No point in making this besides for views
We know he did, but our goal is to keep the videos as simple as possible. Ianxofour goes in to the "techical" stuff and explains how it works. We just make the tutorial simpler and easier to follow since some people only care about that part.
And yes, the video is made for getting views, but that's the whole point of youtube. Also, Ian's channel is linked ln the description, we dont steal content.
@@crispy_craft this is stealing content just bc u linked his chanel doesnt mean ur not stealing
@@plasticfork832 leave the guy alone :P 'tis a nice video.
@@plasticfork832 u r wrong, its not stealing, theres so many tutorials for the same farm but nobody ever considers those as stealing because its not, they were right about keeping their videos simple and not techincal because not everyone wants to see the technical side of the farm, learn be more respectful and appreciate their efforts.
