Ma Long's backhand leaves a lot to be desired. He has had a lot of time to improve on it and yes, he has made an attempt at it but said attempt has been below par. He will never be number 1 again because there are just too many awesome players with thunderous backhands who are prepared to do anything to improve..Ma Long may win a tournament here and there but to all intents and purpose, HE IS A DINOSAUR IN THE NEW AGE.
