Thank you for your loyalty to England, no matter what position you were asked to play. Wish it was lucy bronze saying she was retiring, she is the weakness in the defence and a liability now.
Daly should have started every game after Ellen White retired. Really disappointed. England desperately needed someone to cross to in the last couple of games. Russo's been poor for club and country since she joined Arsenal

I disagree with the point of Russo, I see she did not seem her usual self. That could be down too a number of things. Also there cycle. Can effect the ladies.

Can’t believe Daly wasn’t given the start or at least a full half for her last game. Sarina is stubborn with her favorites and this lionesses team still feels flat. Very sad about Daly retiring like this

Done watching the Lionesses now. Daly was the only one worth watching because of her passion and zest to play for the shirt. Majority of those players on the pitch are just coasting now and not putting the effort in.
Walsh played midfield, right back, left back, centre back, right wing, left wing, goal keeper...everything but striker.
Very much like Daley during Villa's recent woes.
Loved her totally ...loved her hard as nails persona together with the other side of her when she fronted River Deep Mountain High in Trafalgar Square celebrations...totally gutsy ...wonderful bestie of Millie Bright ..who was another hard nosed Lioness ...brilliant pair ...want to take the opportunity here to wonder if the Lionesses really do now have that all out frontal striker Rachel at 27 seemed to be ...Sarina is i think more worried about chance creation and chance taking than she lets on ..Russo very up and down in club and country and not always scoring ...unconvincing is the most common word that pops up about the Lionesses since the Euros ...and you must ask ....was that just home advantage ???? ...Reflecting on this sad day Rachel leaves ...that in English football of all types ...women...men...country ...club...are we overhyping the game in this country...just finished a football finance podcast with ex - director of Sunderland ( yes you know ) going on about so many people around the world watching the mens EPL ...because ( apparently ) its the BEST ...so often hear this ...arguable ok because yesterday yes there were two English clubs versus one german and one spanish in CL thrillers...but best league is too often confused with MOST MARKETED league and BIGGEST REVENUES ...no, quality of football arguably for some time has been in Real Madrid ( previously Barca too ) ...Think , Mbappe is not even thinking of coming to Premier League ...Zidane has always avoided these shores, Bellingham didnt come here from Germany, ...Messi never came ...too many many other examples...apart from their view of our food,weather and then loutish culture ( maybe Spanish seem to have taken over a fairly disgusting insult game )...but top top players didnt and dont see the Premier League or WSL as the home of quality in football per se ( so guess why they have always come ...) ...yes in saying a very fond goodbye to Rachel Daly in the national game we can muse that we won the Euros ( albeit with home advantage ) and came a meritorious second but very much second best in the World Cup ......but the example of Spain is so clear....The English media it is clear chose to ignore ( surprised ? ....er no ) the wonderful female academies in Spain focusing on footballing quality and technique and resulting super high technical quality of the Spanish team ( hey won the World Cup and now the Nations League with 7 -0 victories now in international games ) so the same sensationalist media here can focus on the divisions in their camp in the World Cup and after with that kissing guy in their HQ ...Keira Walsh and Lucy Bronze often quoted with wonder in their voices at the super high tecnhical quality in Barcelona femenil ...so which country truly has the technical footballing quality ...?????? Rachel we will miss you and hope you dont have to watch Lioness games from behind your sofa ...
