I believe if you make one with a dandelion it gives instant saturation which is about 6 1/2 - 7 hunger bars. Not so much as useful if he can't regen but still good to have the knowledge

A great mod that you could add is "Sanity : Descent into Madness" which has a sanity meter and as it goes down, you start hallucinating and hearing whispers and footsteps. Would really add to the horror aspect!
this aspect of the mod makes me just more curious about water in minecraft, it hurts enderman and hurts the player's mental, the unsafe water is a reflection of what world minecraft may be. all of this only if you have an imagination.@@ubnominal
A mod i would reccomend adding is another "dweller" of sorts called the starved stalker, he's the only scary-ish one that also isnt unbalanced, since the midnight lurker isnt that scary and the one who watches is entirely unfair in the difficulty aspect, and the starved stalker also HAS a reason to kill it, since it drops its tooth which can be used to craft a blade that can HEAL YOU when inflicting damage sometimes, which can def help considering you cant naturally regen in this new modpack of yours, another one you should consider adding, but maybe more episodes in would be NIGHTMARE.JAR, he replaces the cave dweller which in return replaces the corpse stalker guy though, but I can imagine some good clips coming out of you if you add that into your modpack. anyway, super happy this series is back it was my comfort series so seeing it be brought back after what felt like a year (even though it was 1month and a half) is really comforting :)

I think the Golem at 8:15 is the same Golem we've seen in the recent episodes of Season 2. It's unnerving to even believe that this is the same Golem or the fact that it might be the Golem he took with him to the Lost Cities and it dies.

one of the main things i loved about the OG from the fog is how laid back you were not super over the top editing just some random creepy sounds for ambience cut the music sometimes for more ambience and just your personality carried the videos (not in a bad way) i absolutely loved the scripted/lore segments but as you said keep them to a minimal cause i enjoy your personality just having a good time (or not lmao)

One thing ive noticed you also do throughout the series is not talk for certain periods of time. Like, you'll end a sentence, and it seems like the video will be cutting to once you start talking again, but it doesnt switch, its jusy awkward silence. Its almost like you forgot to edit it out. And I always brace myself for a herobrine at the edge of the screen, and it only happens sometimes. Like for example at 1:27, it just cuts to silence and you looking around for the footsteps.Whether thats intentional or not, it adds a whole extra layer while being so simple.
