- Micro budget "Irish road movie in space." Two down and out shuttle pilots take an important cargo from the Moon to Earth and all goes wrong. Along the way they discover they are not who they think they are forcing them to rethink their lives.
The film was originally released in 2015. This is the special edition version of the film with added FX shots that were not included in the original release. It also includes a new cameo by actress OLIVIA BARASH (Repoman, Patty Hearst, Tuff Turf, Fame)!
There is no CGI in the film, only miniature and practical effects. The film was shot in Berlin, Germany. Rated PG-13 for language. Remastered to 4K in 2023 for the special edition.

@piercefilm I miss the use of miniatures in movies too. The miniatures in Dante's peak were my favorite. If I ever go into the film industry, I'm planning on making my own disaster film based on the 9.2 magnitude earthquake in Alaska 1964. Just like dante's peak is inspired from the eruption of mt. Saint Helen's. I plan on using lots of miniatures in it.

HA awesome! Very Dark Star... Also I kept wishing Vyvyan, Rick (RIP), Neil, and Mike would have showed up and turned everything up to 11. Maybe have Jerzei do a monologue on the monitor...lol
Yeah, Dark Star is a huge influence. Young Ones not so much. But I also liked that show back in the day.... Withnail and I is a big influence as well.
@@piercefilm It reminds me a lot of The Young Ones because they are always fighting and the ship is so messy and in disrepair like the flat from The Young Ones. The Young Ones always eating flavorless Lentils like the paste in Adventurados. Also they (SPOILERS to anyone reading) become obsessed with the female who comes on board and it turns out she is dangerous. Which reminds me of the episode where Rick wakes up with a female serial killer in his bed. Plus plus Pilot keeps trying to kill himself which reminds me of Neil who also is trying to off himself...
Sorry as you can see I love The Young Ones..lol... I actually included a nod to them in one of the shorts I made back in the day.

Only guys over 45 think of these space plots, it was Really popular back in the day, movies, art, periodicals, everything. And the Jetson's was a '60s toon.
Not pottery, Tupperware! Miniatures! No CGI. This whole film is inspired by sci fi movies of the late 70's and early 80's. I miss those films, and tried to recapture that style of filmmaking when everything was built by hand. The sets, the models, the props etc... Outland. Alien. Blade Runner. Aliens.

Well, the lead actors are Irish, but it is very international. It was filmed in Berlin, Germany with a multinational cast and an American director.
