    I just got the game and really like lars. This is a little confusing for someone who's not really played a fighting game before, but informative enough to easily figure out gaps in knowledge. Good video!

    Hey, Lars main here! Your guides are phenomenal, I'll just give some small bits of info for anyone else learning the character:
    D/f+1 and d/f+2 both have high crush windows. For 1 it's a small window but it can come into play every now and again if you're close to 0 frames of advantage, while d/f+2 is a lot larger of a window and can be great to make people flinch if it randomly connects.
    D/f+3's shift into stance is a great cheeky way to sneak in mix from standing, especially since it can so quickly go into his Shining Wizard through the stance ^^
    It can't really be understated how big the range of b3,4 is. It reaches from like range 3 and the oki it gives is perfect for setting up f3f pressure (SE).
    d2 > 1,1,1 is a great CH confirm option. Since it leaves you at 0 on block, if the opponent does anything slower than a jab, you have free rein to confirm into the string.
    It might come up in the stance section, but d/b+1,3d gives some funny pressure since it puts you into crouch at +1. For example, you can do u/f 1+2 as a crouch cancel to instantly get a 1+2 command grab. U/f+4 is likewise a scary check to people trying to dickjab/toekick check the pressure.
    D/b+4 into FC d/f+2 is like THE CH tool. It gives a huge chunk of frame advantage on hit so if they do anything, d/f+2 will snipe everything. When they start respecting the move, you can do his ff moves to mix right out of crouch like his hellsweep, or if you're crazy, instant Shining Wizard.

      Is it a stage mod? lol, I thought it was just default. All the mods I have, though, I got off deviantart.

    Why do you call Silent entry (SEN) instead of (SE)?

    • @XiangsGaming
      @XiangsGaming  2 года назад +1

      lol you guys have funny questions. 2 reasons: 1) You'll see "SEN" pop up a lot in notations; 2) way easier to say repeatedly than "SE."

    • @normanvanchristoph5958
      @normanvanchristoph5958 2 года назад +1

      @@XiangsGaming Interesting "way easier to say repeatedly than "SE."" that makes sense. One more question. How to you buffer the Forward Back 2 1 after the 14frame punish at 10:15 ? Is there a trick to getting it as fast as possible? I'm doing this in training and sometimes when I try to punish Heihachi's while standing 4 4 he blocks my 14 frame punish?

  • @overflowyouknow

    Hmm why aren't combos using his new SEN 3+4? Was this made before that?

    • @XiangsGaming
      @XiangsGaming  2 года назад +4

      B/c this isn't a combo video. I mention at the end that you can sub SEN 1 for SEN 3+4 for carry. That's enough for players just learning the character.
