Deadpool #0 Weirdest comic book in my collection

Before I get into Deadpool #0 (which came free in issue of Wizard magazine if I remember correctly) I briefly touch on Wolverine #50. Deadpool #0 is one of the weirdest comic books- if not the weirdest I have in my collection. lol And yes that is Bucky i.e. the Winter Solider on the cover. lol This is before they brought him back.
I want comic book events to take place in Texas (see the X-Men storyline Fall of the Mutants), but not really in this way. I had forgotten about how they play into all the Texas stereotypes at the beginning.... When I first read this years ago at a young age- I didn't get it. Now it just makes me smile awkwardly and shake my head. lol
Oh! if you know who any of these other characters are please let me know! I have no idea, which makes it difficult to look them up. And Vamp-Animus? How crazy and awkward is that character?!?! No wonder they killed her off again....lol
