As Isaac get older, the more he looks like Tiff...
It's mind-blowing seeing Isaac grow up before our eyes!
If you don't like the bitterness of the collard greens next time saute it with butter and onions and its delicious. Love how healthy the meal is. I love seasoning my chicken and letting it marinate overnight.

So happy for you guys, starting family traditions together is a beautiful thing! I can completely relate, especially to the cooking part.
I just want to mention to tread carefully when mentioning that's this baby has given you the urge to do more traditional family things, it might make Isaac feel some type of way.
You two are great parents and I'm pretty sure you have discussed this with him at one point. But just thought I would mention it in case it didn't cross your mind.

My brother and I are 13 years apart, my mom had me young. I noticed how much she grew and changed as a mother when he was born, which made me happy. I see this with you and I relate so much to Isaac.

@@Getle98 mmph. Interesting. It's in plain American English. Perhaps it's my tone. Back-way back in the day, adults-such as myself, would refer to youths as "young lady or Miss/Young Master or Young Sir to indicate that youth is no longer a child and yet not an adult. It's a tone of formal respect. And it also indicates a recognition of someone who is astute and gentile. I use formal speak towards Mr. Isaac, because I don't personally know him and of course he doesn't know me. Although i watch these really good vlogs, and it seems there is a certain amount of familiarity-i do not know them. So, therefore i use formal language when i make personable comments and when i meet people for the first time. Also,I 'm a true southerner and we still refer to our peers in formal tones from time to time. Most recently he seemed like such a cutie-pie kiddo and seemingly suddenly he's taller and his baby face is morphing...it's a suprise to see. It's like one minute my niece is a little sassy little girl and now she's a full collegiate teen! Kids grow up SUPER fast....sometimes we call her "Miss Lady or Little Grown Girl" lol
Seeing y’all grow as a family makes me so happy to be apart of it through RUclips me and my little family are growing with y’all 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Very good first dish. I say keep doing that dish once a week improving on it each time and you'll get good very quickly. So like, next time, maybe marinate the chicken, or throw in some more herbs and spices. Garlic, onions, paprika, thyme, etc etc. cut em into smaller cubes, makes it easier to eat or smash and shred. Presoak then sear off those greens in some fat, onions, garlic, maybe some marinara sauce even. Cook the rice in a seasoned water, maybe add in a bullion cube, and finish with some olive oil or butter drizzled over (or duck fat if your feeling fancy. so good). Side of spiced yogurt based dipping sauce to either mix in or dip in. and a spicy chilling sauce if you're into it.

It’s always better to under salt then to over salt and always taste test your food as you cook that way you can make certain adjustments along the way. Or you can always prep food The day before that way allows it to marinate and seasons come together to make the food taste awesome.

I prefer my collards with some chicken stock (an extra cap full of chicken boullion, or 4 boullion cubs), a extra cap full of beef boullion cubs, 3 turkey legs or 4 wings, a bag of bacon bits, a cap full of apple cider vinegar, 1 large scallion, 3 crushed garlic cloves, 1/4 cup of hot sauce (Louisiana hot sauce), 1 table spoon of butter, then you boil it til its tender.
