Yes. These alerts are a staple of the American cable/satellite era. Many generations grew up seeing at least a few of these through watching television or listening to AM/FM radio a lot. I've always found these fascinating as you never know what the alert will look or sound like.

The circumstances of the test and the issuer is probably too specific to be considered a required weekly test. A RWT is typically only used by local broadcast stations to test their equipment to make sure that they are operational and ready in the event of an actual emergency.
@@ItzBIULD I've seen a tornado warning test on TV once, it scared me (I was like 7 and deathly afraid of storms). The issuer then put in "had this been an actual emergency, would you know what to do? Where you would go?" Meanwhile I'm sitting on the floor, panicking, wondering if it was an actual emergency.
Okay, a bit of FYI for you: SILVER and BLUE Alerts are not the same thing as Civil Emergency Alerts. They are in roughly the same category as the AMBER Alert. The broadcasts you included labeled as such or mentioned either an endangered/kidnapped senior citizen (SILVER Alert) or a suspect in an officer-involved shoot out on the loose (BLUE Alert) were broadcast under the incorrect SAME Code, and, in some cases, completely miscategorised by the people who wrote the text of the alert. I would have preferred you excluded the broadcasts that ended up being only tests as well; they too were broadcast under the improper SAME Code and should have used one of the Test Codes instead. Basically, none of the broadcasts I mentioned above are _actual_ examples of a Civil Danger/Emergency Message, and including them in a video that is presumably intended to provide real examples, likely for educational purposes, is (unintentionally) misleading. I imagine you chose your examples based solely on the SAME Code used for each broadcast, but the actual content of the broadcast’s message should be used as a filter to ensure it’s a valid example before being included. After all, the people issuing these alerts are just as fallible as the rest of us humans. Otherwise, a fascinating listen! You still get a like. 🙂
You're more than capable of reuploading this video trimmed to the way that suits you. That might be a more realistic way of dealing with it rather than trying to get someone else to edit and change THEIR own vision.
