29:07 "An exciting day on a submarine is a BAD DAY". That's reactor department on ANY nuke vessel. 😂 One time we had ORSE on board and the propulsion plant drills almost didn't happen one of the days because we had some REAL problems. Like, scram #1 reactor real problems. The ORSE observers watched us do our thing and just decided to count that as one of their drills to observe. I wish I could remember what was the cause, but that was the only time I've ever had to scram the reactor for real.
Hello Aaron, my wife and I adopted a senior dog back in 2014. Now he's at least 17 years old. When the seasons change his arthritis begins to really kick his ass. Your dog is larger so that could very well be the problem. I can tell that you love your dog very much. I'm a Patreon member and you make it worth while. 👍🏼🥓🥓
You folks in the states dont have this insofar as Im aware, but up here in Canada, we have trade schools, with many trades culminating in what's known as a Red Seal; a a government-backed certificate recognizing a person's qualifications in a given trade which is valid across the nation (aside of Quebec but thats its own mess). Automotive mechanic, electrician, plumber, carpenter, hell even hair dressers can get a Red Seal now. The usual run is 10 months in the field, 2 months in school where you get a combo of classroom and shop work, on average 4 years of this depending on the trade, but of course this varies from trade to trade, and many trades offer a 1 or 2 year pre apprenticeship program where you spend the 1 or 2 years in school and when you are cut loose you are a 3rd or 4th year depending on trade. My initial trade as Red Seal Automotive Service Technician opened SOOO many more doors over and above any high school diploma (though i didnt even graduate high school). Now Im also a 5th Class Power Engineer and starting my classes for 4th Class, and Im 41. I wholeheartedly recommend every person under 40 going for ANY trade, unless you are geared for the medical professions. Get the Trade, get the Seal (in Canada), you WILL ALWAYS be in demand. Hells these days i could clone myself three times over and still not get a damn day off!
USS Barb - crew went onshore to mainland Japan and planted explosives on a rail line, and they detonated it as a locomotive rolled over them. As a result, USS Barb painted a locomotive on its conning tower along with its ships as a kill credit. It was the only attack carried out on the Japanese mainland on the ground by US soldiers in the war. I think they received a Presidential Citation for it?
g`day aaron .. time to rig house for ultra quiet and get the video under way ....cheers for the new upload mate EDIT : great old sub movie is "the bedford incident" 1965 and another movie to watch the original "fail safe " 1964. 2 of my favorite movies
I was 1 of those $1 Patreon cancellations. I had no money to buy my cat new cat litter, and I had no money to buy myself food because my mom (mentally ill) lost her mind and kicked me out of the house. I was selling plasma and selling all of my valuables to take care of my cat and pay my bills and moving expenses. My kitty was my priority, above all else. He's so sweet. Anyway, yes Aaron the $1 Patreons who cancelled are likely really, really, really desperate at the moment like me. :( Still not out of the woods. My first paycheck came in last week and it was tiny because of payroll timing. I will rejoin Patreon when I'm able to do it safely.
A manager coordinates. If there is no need to coordinate various tasks or logistics, there is no need for a manager otehr than himself. That can only be done in select areas.
I one of the guys at my old company who lost his $120K job over lying about his degree status on his job application (we were required by the gov to hire only people who met minimum qualification requirements). He could have been transferred to a different role, but the decision was made to terminate for dishonesty. All of our IT roles were positions of trust, and you can't trust a liar....
Some dogs are very aggressive, and if you've ever been bitten by a dog, you will be wary of them until you can assess their demeanor. I like dogs too, but not all dogs are friendly towards strangers.
Dogs have very simple body language, it irks me when people are afraid of my as cuddly as they get German Shepherd. He weighs 82 pounds and is around as fast as they get. All he uses it for though is to more rapidly get petted...
@@hithere7382 I agree, you can tell pretty quickly if a dog is friendly or not. Still, some people have anxiety because they got bit by a dog, maybe as a child, and will never learn to read that body language.
@@EdgewiseSJ Perhaps kids should get issued guard dogs like my mom had when I was a kid, the one time a dog tried to hurt me our dogs dismembered it handily prior to it getting within 25' of my 7 years old self. I still do German Shepherds yet only 1-3 at a time, usually 1 or 2 sometimes with a 3rd that is a puppy or a geriatric one. My wife usually has a female Doberman since they fit better in small cars than male Shepherds do and they don't have fur or shedding like they do either. They aren't trained as guard dogs like those East German freaks were though. They're super cuddly except the ones younger than the one I wrote of earlier have shorter tempers for retards like small children and people that didn't grow up with large dogs and try stupid things like using their hands as toys. They wonder why I yell at them and then never ever invite them to my properties again heh.
If you can muzzle her to prevent eating the stuff on the ground while walking that would be a good experiment. I too have German Shepherds and they're the friendliest dogs I've ever had just like their predecessors, we train them to be friendly. If you want a dog that likes to rest a German Shepherd isn't a good fit for you, sir. If you want a dog that likes to sit purchase three additional vacuum cleaners and then a Great Pyrenees dog.
Please be very careful of random berries from trees. Many are genuinely toxic to animals and people. Not easy to keep them away but our pets mean so much to us and I would never want one to get sick if avoidable.
4:30 don't feel bad, I'm going through a bankruptcy and the court is literally scrutinizing down to each dollar spent each month. Love your content but a court order to conserve money is hard to ignore.
I really enjoy your content but why is it necessary for the thumbnails to feature scantily clad women I would much rather see something more related to your content.
Thank goodness another episode of Coldwater. I was having withdrawals.
You too?!
run silent run deep with clark gable...

Admiral Rickover is the “infamously” famous K.O.G.🤔

During WWII the swedish navy had trained seals to find subs.
I really like the music, nice touch
Operation Petticoat - "Targeted Tanker, Sank Truck!"

Background music really kills the vibe tbh.

Oh thank God!
WW2 Sub, USS Barb sent a patrol ashore to sabotaged a railroad that had heavy train traffic on Sakhalin Island, Japan
Verify range to target, 1 bark only!
They're nervous about the dog because of an experience with a mis-trained dog. You know the sort. "my dog is part of my ego, and I'm a dangerous guy."

Sea Monkeys make awesome pets. Seems like you keep saying that you are married, then you are not, then you are.
