so sorry to hear about the road accident on your way to Milford Sound..my husband and I visited Queenstown last April.. Went to Milford Sound by Juicy Tours and booked the bus with skylight..our bus driver was strict in imposing punctuality and while onboard the bus, mandatory fasten seat belts..we traveled thru zigzag roads at high elevation..the bus was so huge, can't imagine the driver's skill along the winding road..weather conditions were unpredictable coz our tour was moved a day later..''twas raining too in April..hope your plan to Milford Sound will push through..prayer for safe travels..

The saddest thing about NZ is that a high rate of drivers lost their lives solely because they drove on the wrong side of the road hence why if you were to rent a car, the NZ govt and the rental companies have a lot of warning leaflets and a copy of our road code. I’m relieved that you guys were not harmed
