I come back to this fight over and over. The amount of blood in this fight isn´t for the big cuts or injuries, it is because the huge hearts both these kids have pumping so hard for fighting that it just flows out of their pores. One of the most enjoyable fights to watch ever. I´ll back anyone of them in a fight against McGregor any day of the year. Not because I think they are better fighters but because I respect them a lot more.

They aren’t doing it because they hate eachother. Proving that you can hit and take one is a respectable feat. Getting your face pounded in and then socking the shit out of the guy who did it is also respectable. They earned each others respect by proving they can hold their own against another man
It's a guy thing maybe not every guy's thing but most males. Something exhilarating about going head-to-head with another man no holds bar and at the end shaking hands. It's a respect thing and proves to oneself that he can defend himself at any cost.

they don't try to hurt each other, they're trying to fight and win. when you find out you actually injured someone as a fighter you feel very guilty and sorrowful about it afterwards - some never come back to the sport after that. it's an agreement - you and me give each other consent to beat the absolute shit out of each other until one of us has had enough. we both accept that it may result in serious injury, but hope it won't. it's fun for some people, kicking butt and getting yours kicked, although there are quite a few individuals that do it out of pride and ego and they do, in fact, want to hurt others to prove themselves, "be a man" or other bullshit like that
