Time for a shopping challenge! We let our kid do the grocery shopping for a a week's worth of food for a special Veganuary challenge! JoJo did his shopping at Iceland, where they have lots of good vegan options. This is a great video to help people go vegan, or see how to go vegan, cos when a 9 year old child does the grocery shopping, you know you can too!

I absolutely loved this 🥰😂 JoJo is honestly the loveliest little boy, he makes my absolute day! I love this! I can't do this for the whole of Jan but we are from the 14th going to try have more vegan meals! We on a tight budget so having to use up lots of what we have already! Baby steps! Well done Jojo!

I noticed JOJO has a weight blanket on his bed I think it is. Maybe if JOJO feels comfortable in the future maybe he like to share what helps him in his every day life. Only if he feels comfortable.
I have a quote “Disability doesn’t affect our ability”.
I have additional needs and I looking into weight blanket but can’t decide which ones might be the best as they is all sorts. Any sensory input that might make living with additional needs a little easier. Love you channel and a happy new year! 😊

Yes JoJo had a weighted blanket as it has a nice calming effect and helps him sleep. I have one too and also feel the benefits. The brand I would recommend is Mela 👍

Unfortunately, i am one of those people who cannot physically participate in a full vegan diet. I have tried it for 2 weeks previously I was not able to get out of bed had to be put on a drip.
However, i have been doing other things like I don't eat a lot of meat and more veggies etc. I do do a lot recycling have respect for living things. I do care about that sruff.
I'm gonna try veganuary, will be my 7th year vegan ,so I carry on veganuary into every month of the year ,love it

Well done JoJo you did really well :). I'm a vegetarian and have been since I was 6. I am going to go vegan for the middle of January for a month. I plan to eat more fruit and veg and hopefully feel a lot more healthy and who knows I may just carry it on after the month :)

We used groceries shopping on line but we go to pick it up because I have a similar address as other person and my order got to there house and did not get all my groceries so waiting for the person to pay back or Store but it does come in handy thanks for sharing take care stay safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉🎊💯⭐🌟

I don't think any of those three family members are completely vegan but they have all made big changes. However we have had other family members that didn't do that challenge that have gone completely vegan 🙂

#livebutnotlive from North Dakota USA. Jojo did excellent! We have two adults, three kids, and a dog and $120 was our average weekly spend on food before we started our hydroponic garden.
Instead of resolutions this year I'm setting a goal each month to do something different to improve our lifestyle. January is no spend January. So the only money being spent this month is on bills. Our groceries are coming from our pantry, freezer, and garden.

Nervous for this month my sons is turning 1 on the 11th. My mum has just had a positive covid test luckily she doesnt feel unwell! She gets weekly in her job. And my husband to be will be working for arthur birthday aswel.
However positive note we are trying vegan January for the first time ever !

My family and I have been vegan for 5 years now and I first became vegetarian when I was 15 (I'm nearly 33).
Yes, we definitely noticed that food was a bit more expensive when we visited the US, and there were certain things that were cheaper.
