Tamar has been honest unlike Towanda and Toni was the most empathetic as it relates to Kevin Sr. and Kevin Jr. Trina was following whatever Towanda was saying/doing. I think Trina pointing out that Traci and Tamar were not in a good place, kinda poured salt on the wound from Tamar which she was already dealing with not finding out about Traci’s illness til the last days.
You go down the road of marriage because it’s special. It’s more than being boyfriend and girlfriend. Also, it’s honorable in the sight of the Lord. I know it sounds outdated to some, but hey.
Great review Rodney! I'm one of them who don't care for Tamar and, IMO, use gay men as accessories; however, I'm glad she is finally acknowledging her behavior and taking accountability. Now we need Evelyn to take accountability for contributing to her daughter's f**ked up behavior and how they show in their relationships, ALL OF THEIR RELATIONSHIPS...but that's wishful thinking! As for Towanda and Sean, I agree. Rodney, it sounds like you might have ADHD or ADD. I have ADHD and I have trouble remembering something if I don’t say it right then. For me, it didn’t show up until I was in my late 20s and it’s gotten worse now at 38. As a teacher, it’s frustrating for me. It’s really easy for me to get distracted.
The Braxton's /weight- i did not like how Evelyn tried to make it 😮seem like she was worried about Trina eating related to grief and really its the weight. She almost slipped and called it directly one time. I think the toxicity with weight comes from her. I waited all season for them to shame and roast Trina like they did Traci. They never did. In those early BFV yrsThey raked Traci over coals about her weight. She was wanna be / the fat sister. It felt like she was one it was always okay to kick in the family. I *hated* that 🤨 *I know this wasn't in this episode but apparently the season is over 🥴 and they don't regret it
My thoughts are that in Tamar's mind they were in a good place. Whatever their issue was, Traci wasn't over it. Tamar get on my nerves, however I got some insights into why she is the way she is.
She’s very cute still and her voice was so different. Everybody fell in love with it when she first came out Toni Braxton seven whole days was bad and so many more.
I enjoyed this season hope we get a season 2. Toni has one of the most unique voice I have ever heard and she still sound the same till this day. ( Anita Baker too)

Trina it’s hilarious. Anyway when I watch her cookie show I’ll be crack she cracks me up. She’ll just say something so funny and I’m like Trina you are crazy. She is so funny sometimes is funny she would be good doing a joke or cracking jokes being the comedian kinda, she’s great.
There is nothing wrong with cooking at 2 am or whenever you feel hungry or have the energy to cook. In other countries they have "street food" that opens only at night we are so conditioned to think that our way is the correct way.
I feel the BRAXTONS wanted to be on tv again. But had to address Traci season one OBVIOUSLY. So it feels they used her but a death has to be addressed. I don't know If Kevin's part needed to be in the show. As he is not a celebrity and won't be back. So they should have omitted him as a peach holder as Rodney crazy self put it. Using him as a storyline wasn't necessary.

Cousin, I ain't stutn Tamar and her honesty. She was unnecessarily unkind to Traci a lot of times. When she became "the breakout star" she started acting superior to everyone. Even Toni and Vince. Being the baby of the family is not an excuse for how she acts. Tamar has fallen out with everyone around her at some point.
Most people couldn't watch from an unbiased place. I even saw some ppl saying that Ms. E didn't even care that Traci passed, with is just disgusting. I hope they don't come back.
I am always going to give Tamar grace. Tamar was molested as a child by more than one person, she has been a victim of domestic violence in at least two relationships that we know of, she struggles with mental illness and has been hospitalized 2-3 times. I think when the family talks about protecting Tamar and she’s the baby it might be because they feel guilty for not protecting her from everything she has gone through. It’s not a stretch to think maybe Tracy was protecting her sister by not telling her about her illness.
I dont believe it was true all the sisters treated her like crap but Tamar treated her so bad she didn't even want her to know she was dying something is missing when it come to death it is not that serous I rather believe she wanted to protect her or she thought she would be doing too much and that would make it harder for her

I agree that Tamar was being honest and had some regrets. I wish she had filmed together at Toni’s show. If something happens to one of her sisters she will have regrets again. You don’t have to be best friends but you should be able to be in the same room with each other on a co-worker vibe. I enjoyed this season too and hate how people are calling for the show to be canceled.

The whole tamar being the baby thing is something they have been doing for years. Ive been coming across interviews they did when they were teens /young adults and they def coddled her then. Also tamar has always been that way i remember her on toni’s reality show back in the early 2k’s i think it was on vh1 (when they still had videos)😂
I do trust trina the most, but she had her time when she came off as a follower or maybe she just wanted to stay in the middle which I get. I do remember the last season traci said her sister said “she was dead to her” Which really wasnt that long ago. Since then traci has probably been over tamar behind. I never forgot when she said that.

I loved her confessional looks and she sounds so mature and wise, but I know she needs more work. When they do flashbacks, I am reminded of why I’m a fan. I root for her.

Trina it’s hilarious. Anyway when I watch her cookie show I’ll be crack she cracks me up. She’ll just say something so funny and I’m like Trina you are crazy. She is so funny sometimes is funny she would be good doing a joke or cracking jokes being the comedian kinda, she’s great.
There is nothing wrong with cooking at 2 am or whenever you feel hungry or have the energy to cook. In other countries they have "street food" that opens only at night we are so conditioned to think that our way is the correct way.
I feel the BRAXTONS wanted to be on tv again. But had to address Traci season one OBVIOUSLY. So it feels they used her but a death has to be addressed. I don't know If Kevin's part needed to be in the show. As he is not a celebrity and won't be back. So they should have omitted him as a peach holder as Rodney crazy self put it. Using him as a storyline wasn't necessary.
I was wondering would they throw him a bone for production credit but I didn't see it or Tracy's name. Idk if they could give Tracy's estate credit or sumn. Idk this all felt slimey and grimey to me

But the division between Traci family was messy and didn't need to be on tv. I'm not sure if Traci n Towanda and the mom thought about how the internet and blogs latch on to drama and play Scooby Doo😔
‼️Why do we blame Evelyn? The Dad walked away from the family which affected how Evelyn was able to raise their daughters. I find it so fascinating that a man can walk away from his family for another person, and the woman who is left behind to raise the children mostly alone gets dumped on, instead of the DAD! I dont think it was confirmed Tamar said that. People just assumed she did, but I honestly think Towanda said it. I appreciate Tamar acknowledging that she and Traci weren’t always in a good place, unlike the others who pretend like they were so close with Traci when we know thats a lie

Cousin, I ain't stutn Tamar and her honesty. She was unnecessarily unkind to Traci a lot of times. When she became "the breakout star" she started acting superior to everyone. Even Toni and Vince. Being the baby of the family is not an excuse for how she acts. Tamar has fallen out with everyone around her at some point.
Most people couldn't watch from an unbiased place. I even saw some ppl saying that Ms. E didn't even care that Traci passed, with is just disgusting. I hope they don't come back.
I am always going to give Tamar grace. Tamar was molested as a child by more than one person, she has been a victim of domestic violence in at least two relationships that we know of, she struggles with mental illness and has been hospitalized 2-3 times. I think when the family talks about protecting Tamar and she’s the baby it might be because they feel guilty for not protecting her from everything she has gone through. It’s not a stretch to think maybe Tracy was protecting her sister by not telling her about her illness.

I agree wholeheartedly. They might not have always gotten along, but they know Traci loved all her sisters and tamar loves her sisters too. I think this is their weird way of punishing tamar for distancing herself from them. I think its more with the fact that they knew Tamar is mentally unstable and literally just attempted suicide not too long prior. I think it was more about that bc clearly traci didnt tell the sisters “I dont want tamar to know because I think she hates me and we not cool”. Since none of the sisters can say traci said anything like that or remotely similar, I dont think that was the reason

I hope this was a one season wonder because it wasn’t a hit to me. Just my opinion. They don’t need to do anything else public until they HEAL FOR REAL! And stop exploiting their nephew. For the most part, Tamar has acted like a spoiled, petulant, brat. But it seems like they created that persona though. She did take some accountability at the end.

Towanda in my opinion is exactly what Traci called her … a snake. She throws a rock then hides her hand. The “real” her came out during this show. We saw a sneak peek on the first show, but the tried to make Traci look like the bad one then.

I agree that Tamar was being honest and had some regrets. I wish she had filmed together at Toni’s show. If something happens to one of her sisters she will have regrets again. You don’t have to be best friends but you should be able to be in the same room with each other on a co-worker vibe.

The whole tamar being the baby thing is something they have been doing for years. Ive been coming across interviews they did when they were teens /young adults and they def coddled her then. I do trust trina the most, but she had her time when she came off as a follower or maybe she just wanted to stay in the middle which I get. I do remember the last season traci said her sister said “she was dead to her” Which really wasnt that long ago. Since then traci has probably been over tamar behind. OMG! I agree with how you described Tamar. I think she’s a mess and a lot and leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths, but I’m still a fan. I can’t explain it. I loved her confessional looks and she sounds so mature and wise, but I know she needs more work. When they do flashbacks, I am reminded of why I’m a fan. I root for her.
