A nicely put together review of the two parks and one I think is a very fair one although I have never visited KTP. It's not just the accessibility of KTP, it's the availability of accommodation , particularly for a non resident visitor which has so far prevented me booking but hopefully one day I'll get there. I have visited KNP , and indeed I'm returning there next year, and I have also visited Etosha. I'd love to see your comparison on those two parks as well!
Thank you Dave. You are right, booking accommodation at KTP is a challenge. I've always managed to pick up cancellations at the last minute, which is obviously not an option for a visitor coming from outside SA. I think it's one of the reasons why a lot of people camp there, there are usually sites available. Etosha is absolutely on the "to visit" list, eventually I plan to do "shootouts" with other popular national parks; Etosha, Moremi, Chobe, Hwange, etc. One step at a time π

Hi Chris, I go to KNP for the wildlife and KTP for the experience.
That's the ideal way of doing it I'd say, I'm with you there.
Agree was in October 21 in Kgalaghadi. Refer KNP but Kgalagadi is very close.
