Cool …binding is the best. As long as you have the maps available they can be printed and bound quite easily… buying the PDF and then, for those that don’t have a printer or binder a stationary/office shop can print and bind the materials.. binding at a shop is roughly $5 … so no biggie.
The coil binding is a great improvement, as it allows for the book to lie flat without damaging the binding. This is a very welcome evolution of your game books! Thank you.
Excellent idea, changing the type of binding! Much more practical! I have another improvement request: could we occasionally play as both sides and not just the Allies? 🙏🙏🙏
You can play both sides in my Battles of Napoleonic Europe, English Civil War and Medieval Britain. My feeling is that most people prefer playing as the Allies in the World War games and of course I have to consider the potential popularity of my games when making them. I'll certainly keep it in mind though and maybe I'll be able to get a 'play both sides' format into a WW2 game. Cheers.
I find publishing on Lulu to be far easier than the other options. But then I use them the most. Coil binding has always been more pricey. Anyway, good move.
Not at the moment. It is very time consuming so they will likely appear pretty slowly. I'll probably go for Fields of Normandy XL next, as that is a good seller and shouldn't be too much work, hopefully! I'd also like to get Napoleonics on there but I'll probably update the map art on that first. Cheers.
@@phoenixirwin8730 Haha. Yes I’m fine thanks. Not sure why I sound like that. I think I was keeping my voice down for some reason but can’t remember now why that was!!!!
Love spiral bound. I was just in the process of getting a rulebook printed with spiral binding.

@@mikelambosolitairebookgames I agree. I much prefer playing as the Allies instead of rooting for the Axis. Silly, maybe, but there it is.
Nice!
Good idea, is this out now with the coils?
Should be - see the link in the video description. Thanks.

This is very nice Mike. Any idea of the next titles coming out on this platform?

@ perfect thanks. Then I’ll maybe wait on buying the ‘normal’ version of FoF XL ☺️
@@novio8 I'm just waiting for my proof copy and then I'll hopefully be able to release it pretty soon (in coil binding). Thanks.
Are you okay? you sound sick or sad or something): The coil binding was a great idea btw!
