I love the idea of short stay free camps, as 2 or 3 nights allows you to explore the area, and usually these are places you would not book a motel to stay. Small towns, often with really great historical places where a half day can see them all. You are likely to then have a meal, maybe stock up on a few things and basically support a few local businesses, both in the immediate area, and often up to an hour or so away.
Thanks for taking me through the sand dunes, loved it, brought back memories. Great work with the drone and editing guys I appreciate the time involved :)
Great video. There is a Cidery in Bridgetown which is very nice. Up until winter Glen Mervyn dam was dry and we have never been able to see where the track is for vans. It gets very crowded during summer. I drive that road from Collie past there at least once a month as my son lives in Boyup Brook which is 37 klms from Bridgetown. Hope you have enjoyed yourselves. We are in Australind about 15 klms from Bunbury heading up Forest Highway. Enjoy your time in WA ❤❤❤
Hey Karen! Thanks for the comment 😃 Yeah wow we did think it looked very low at the Dam 🤔 Yes I could imagine how busy it could get. Beautiful areas 👌🏾
@@CaravanAdventureAus Hey Bryce and Chelsea we are Nev and Cathryn and we love watching you guys - mostly how much respect you have for each other and of course Juice is amazeballs - my sister is just about to completed a trip from Tassie to Darwin then down the WA coast just ahead of you guys so we got to follow along and see some awesome photography via you guys We have two Smithfield's Neeca & Arlie who will be travelling with us in the next couple years - we were new to youtube and so happy we did discovered your site keep adventuring and posting and we may see you on the road sometime cheers
When we travel in the van I save the bottle inserts from the boxes when we buy wine they are a thick cardboard and are indented to the shape of the bottle and line a small cupboard with them and just keep layering and stacking as many as y can fit.
Traveling on your own in tricky situations like soft sand can be stressful and im quite allergic to stress so I usually do that with another party or two🤣👍
Finally Bryce/Chelsea ,somewhere different that non of the other you tubers have gone to ! Wonder if you could thank the van down the dunes to park on beach ,but there was an article in this 1/4s open road about the amount of cars that park on the beach like a parking lot around our great nation ,so great vid with nobody around the 👍
If you’d turned left onto the beach at the bottom of Yeagarup dunes, you’d have driven to the Warren River mouth. When the mouth isn’t flowing and the sand bar is closed over you can drive past the river mouth, and exit back up “Calcup Hill”, the steepest dune in WA. You need 9 psi to get up Calcup. The sand tracks you went in on were wet underneath so you’d have done the trip a lot easier than middle of summer when they are dry & super soft. Instead of Greenbushes & Bridgetown, you should have gone to Nannup. Lots of free camps on the Blackwood River in State Forest where the dog is allowed. Lived in Nannup 20 odd years & was the Forester & Wildlife Officer for Yeagarup / DeEntrecasteaux National Park.
Hey guys love your videos… we are travelling with our two longhaired mini dachshunds and were just wondering where you got the little fan for Juice in the back seat. Keep up the Vids we love them and have visited a few places you’ve been in SE Qld
When I was a kid the mine at Greenbushes was a Tin mine and I thought it closed down. I wonder if the Lithium mine is the same mine and now they discovered that Lithium is valuable and reopened it or is the old tin mine somewhere else? Thanks for the video.

Mmmm, caravan wine cellar…… Wine - check, Plumber - check, plumbers pipes cut to length of wine bottles then installed into plastic crate to contain any breakages… surely a good plumber can come up with this😊
We carry 2 spare Jerry cans on the caravan and have them full for emergencies when travelling long distances, but just normally travelling at the moment they're not full 👍
Hey guys, long time supporter however slagging hipcamps that are mums and dad 's home properties, like the Denmark winery is a bit rough. Have stayed at that same hipcamp and had a great experience. It's a shame you didn't have a good time there but this is peoples livelihoods and you have smashed his winery and camp. You lost me as a subscriber.
Hey thanks for watching and we are glad you had a good experience. Although we don't provide fluff pieces and false reviews, if you've been following along for a while we give our honest opinion aswell as honest experiences and thats all we documented. We didn't say 'don't go here it's bad' we spoke about our time there. Shame to see you go
"I love when these small towns provide free camping, then we can spend that money in town at a cafe or whatever." Proceeds to cook (self proclaimed) disgusting looking sausages in the caravan instead. 😒
It is great, a good town to get fuel in, groceries from the IGA, pie from the bakery and some bargains from the op shop. You only see 25 minutes of highlights out of 3-4 days 👍
Thanks, as usual, for another awesome video! We plan to visit your beautiful country soon! Cheers from California, Jerry and William
Hey thanks so much Jerry and William! We appreciate your ongoing support all the way from California 🙌🏼🤩

Thanks for watching Richard!
We’ve stayed at that dam on weekends a couple of times and it was awesome. Got a bit busy with people water skiing but was good to watch

Absolutely! It was actually a trip we packed the starlink into the car so if we got into trouble we could contact someone! Can be stressful for sure 👍
Great job 👏 4WD on the Dunes looks amazing but scary. The reptiles have been out in force for you Chels the last couple of week’s 😂

I think you found what us West Aussies call the 'widowmaker'. Great vid!
But what did the sausages taste like?
Love your work.
Great video! Looking at your suspension you have previously indicated it was a Dobinson, just wondering did you replace the upper control arms or not.
Juice! Off the chair.
Done.
