Well first off. We just jamming, my friends and family that were there know how we get down so it’s normal to them plus it was my birthday party so I was jammin out while everyone was having a good time. I hate the spotlight that’s why Im always okey with them enjoying the moment.

You guys are tight. Drummer has some serious knowledge. His choices of snares and heads are great. I've played for 20 years and the only thing I would tell you guys is to get a female singer (my opinion). You're version of Rock With You is very good. Hell, they are all good but if you throw in a singer to hang on that rythm, you guys will be big. I like your version of Keep Forgettin too. Its funked out with a gangsta twist. Good luck.

That band sounds real tight for the smooth jazz sound most smooth jazz dancing two covers and bands to play they sell so Ricky dinky now these cats are solid and that drummer his kit is supreme god damn his drum sound dope if they just took all the music out and he stop and start playing some boom bap everybody's heads and also drop you can't tell but I can tell I swear if that guy does a vid with that same kid right doing the spot recorded a couple of breaks you won't believe how good those drums sound some cats probably listen to the skin do it as soon as I heard I said oh s*** they sound tight they all sound good everybody's in the pocket has a drum kit is a supreme he got a real nice clean drum kit I think thousands of drummers should take notes off of this one just the way his pocket is in the way this tone N kick is balance with DRUMS 🥁🧢🤸 so many beautiful sounds of the drums there's no right or wrong this its about what you're looking👁️👁️🥁 for

Hi snookEmz, best wishes with playing your drums.
I dont know what kind of training or schooling you have had, but practice the basics, practice the basic rudiments, and start off slow.
Always count and watch your hands and wrists that you are using proper grips, techniques, and control.
Start with one drum, then subdivide your beats between 2 and more drums while still watching your technique and always counting, lol.
Watch this excellent drummer. Watch how his control is very clean, and he isn't bashing the drums. He can still play loud and soft while he keeps his sticks at one level, even as he moves his arms from drum to drum.
Of course, he is playing a different style of music, but he could play rock with that same technique and control. The style only changes.
Have fun with it. Drumming is awesome. Just enjoy each beat and appreciate each sound you hear, coz you are making music.

What drum set is that? I've been looking for a kit that's small and more quiet and that one really rocks!
This is my design dw drum set. I have two kicks. 18” & 20” but in this video I am using 18” kick with a 10” rack & 14” floor.
With a vintage 80’s brass hand hammered 14” pearl piccolo snare

Great drumming, love the tuning on the Pearl Free Floating Piccolo Snare. But what shell is that? I have one with a birch shell myself, I know it also comes with a bronze and a steel shell, but I've never seen a red sparkle shell (I'm assuming it's wood). Did you add a wrap to it? :)

I used my zoom Q8 to capture the audio. It has built on x/y mics on top.
Thts all nothing direct or mixed later. Just raw audio through the camera.
