- Our Fountaine Pajot Bahia 46 came with a West Marine 310 with a 9.9hp Mercury. When we realized getting up on plane with us and the dogs wasn't going to happen in anything other than calm seas, we knew we needed an upgrade for our family adventures. We upgraded our dinghy to a brand new Highfield CL 340 with a 25hp Tohatsu outboard. It was delivered a few days ago and we have been enjoying testing her out in Georgia's Golden Isles.

Actual dinghy riding footage like this is very rare on YT, thanks for posting. And thanks for not putting in too much annoying background music, I dont understand that trend in boating videos. We want to hear the nature, not some royalty free dingle

Yes! We could get on plane with 5 ppl but it was a little tricky.

Planning on upgrading from my honwave sib, what’s the top speed?
Thank you! Our top speed is 28 mph with one person. If we had to do it over again we would put a 20 hp instead of 25 hp. Too much weight in the back with the larger motor.
@@StefSea i have 25h Yamaha it’s the lightest 25 on the market, I also have experience with the 20h tohatsu great engine and very light.
