- A brand new restoration, recently finished to a superb standard located in a paradise valley in central Portugal.
The views from this recently renovated property are across the river Zezere and took my breath away!
It is located five minutes drive from the river beach of Foz de Alge but i would swim in the river in front of the house, just a few minutes walk.
The property has been finished to a high standard to all current building regulations and has two bathrooms and two large bedrooms.

As much as I appreciate the property videos I really miss the old videos showing your daily lives. Seeing you on your land and working on your property really made my day.
I find it so hard to be in front of the camera, really uncomfortable for me personally.
I have loads of footage but it just makes me cringe inside.

Foffy finally returned from her long adventure, it was a torturous time! I'll try and get a vlog done tomorrow or Monday about it.
My love for furry creatures has been my downfall really, long story.

Hello Nick and welcome Andreia, wow what a beautiful house that has it all and more depending upon one’s views and I know where my views are definitely going to be in that setting I sure I heard something about a ruin but I was miles away floating around on that water and couldn’t really hear you? It was maybe my good wife you were talking about or that second bit of a building that comes with the property I’m not really sure but what the odds I think I’ll just pop off around that water way again and soak up a few rays. Thank you very much for the few hours going around the water and a quick very quick look around the property it’s always a pleasure to go view the properties that are up for sale around you Nick and one day you’ll get me as a near neighbour until then let’s go on another adventure. 😊😊😊

A credit to the owners/builders, this house is finished to a very high standard, ideal for a holiday home or letting.
It's a lovely finish. Maybe needs an island in the kitchen area for more storage and a couple of ac units 👌

Well, the house is beautiful, but it's not like a castle or palace. I don't think it's worth the price 275 thousand euros! Either I would be rich or even if I bought it through the bank, I would die first and not be able to pay the house. Nick, you do a great job, but the price of houses that aren't even that special has become ridiculous. I know this area well, a ruin that didn't even cost 10 thousand euros... the roof was falling down, they didn't even spend 50 thousand euros on repairs, it turned into a small fortune for the owner. "275 thousand euros" Jesus... To be honest, the ideal price would be 75 thousand.
I disagree completely, but appreciate your kind words regarding what we do.
I think the location is just remarkable and I know there are 2 holiday let's in the village there that are over 1k a week to rent, you do the maths.
The restoration was a 5 year long process and ultimately led to this place going on the market.
Everything has been done to a high standard and the fact you could increase the living accommodation to another 2 bed letting unit or 4/5 bed home for 50k would make this a very expensive property (I think it would be way more than 50k).
I guess at the end of the day it will sell for what it's worth, watch this space 😉
Perfect location but the price is a litle bit spicy! If someone would like to restore the ruin will need further cash! 🤑For future owners consider to change the bathroom door to open for the oposite side, for safety. If someone pass out on the toilet no one can open the door to help! 😉 And the bigger room needs a window their 😘 just hints! Congrats for the team and welcome Andrea.

Nice property. For me, a little bit more land is a must, so I can grow some fruits and veggies. Also, I hate looking at other people’s roof so near to my house. Price seems bit high.

I talked about this with a client and we thought an island in the kitchen would be a great idea for more storage, a refrigerator and somewhere to eat 👌

I try to film as many beautiful properties as I can with agents I feel I can trust.
If they are great at their job and are honest that's what's most important.
If they look fab.u.lous, as they all do, that's just a bonus 🙌

I'm a big fan of restoring old buildings. It's stood for over 100 years.
