Agreed. Everything is so overpriced and now this game isn’t friendly to new players. Items have been recently being very pricey like look at the new set. The set costs 198k and there is no way a new player can possibly get it in such a short amount of time without farming for many hours a day. I hope that they lower prices on sets and items so nobody has to be farming hours at a time.
Same, then it is so hard to obtain rare items like halos. I played Crown Academy occasionally and still find it to be easier for newer players to get one, especially during the seasonal events.
@@ladynoname3621 halos are always going to be hard to get ahold up, for a reason. Crown acadamy is a whole diff game were halos are easy to obtain. Halos are supposed to be rare and hard to gain, ofc the overpricing is rlly getting OVER rn but you get the point.

As someone who's been playing for over 3 years, rare items have gone up in price so much it's like actually so unrealistic to achieve those amounts. not everyone has 5 extra million diamonds in their inventory, it used to be easy to get rare items because they were like 100k. it's easier to get 100k instead of 1.5 million, 1.7 million diamonds for a skirt is so unrealistic. I've made my peace with it but i'm waiting for the prices to go down because I do enjoy trading.

@@TheKittyUnicorn I know!! And I understand that the rare items and the halos have gone up in demand by a lot of people but it's just starting to get really discouraging. Whenever I ask what people would like for their large train bow skirt they say 'Between 1-2mil' and it's literally so ridiculous because it's only a skirt. The halo prices are a little more realistic but a skirt isn't worth a mid tier halo no matter how many people want the skirt.

I totally understand what you are saying but at the same time, we can't really do anything about it unless the whole community brings this issues up for the devs which is very very rare. Even if barbie and the devs did put out a chart or anything for the halos; eg. 300k for the halos, It'll cost a huge fight over the people who has been buying them for much more since it'll seem really unfair. The reason for the inflation of items/halos is because it's easier to earn diamonds now (not super easy but not as hard as before), before 300k was rare but now it isn't as rare since at least 40% of people have 300k in their inventory. I do agree with the fact that the halo prices are ridiculous but the prices have gone down from 10million - 5.4million for the highest halo which is an improvement (I don't get the people in the comments saying that the spring20 is worth 1.1mil when it's not). You can do other things to earn diamonds other than farming such as: Commissions, Profit trades etc. Halos/Rare items will lose their value if each halo is 300k and rare items are 100k since our sets are 130k average. I hope you understand where I am coming from. Thank you for taking the time to read this ^^.

They literally haven't added a new way to get diamonds in years. They should stop trying to pump up stupidly overpriced sets and actually focus on how laggy the game becomes on mobile, how new players have to spend HOURS collecting at least 30k diamonds and the wasting them all on ONE item.
I want to be a collector, i really do, and I've loved this game for YEARS- but I am SO bitter. They keep adding devs but there is no change in how the game progresses. Heck, since when was a new class added? Does anyone use enchantix as more than a playhouse to farm diamonds? Why is the fountain s o m e a n >:"(

Yup, I wholeheartedly agree with your statement... I wouldn't mind if the developers stopped adding seasonal sets for a while and began focusing more on seasonal updates that are *actually* fun and motivating. The advent calendar was nice, it's an easy way to get items but when you get the gifts you don't even need to play the update anymore. I'd like to see more updates like the 2021 Easter one, it was enjoyable and had a fair amount of competitiveness while also offering items in return. That's what I seek for in a game. Events / Minigames that can be both fun and offer great rewards at the same time.

I wish there was like event items in the valentines update that you dont need to farm diamonds for. Like the easter update, you collect eggs and get eggs in return. What if you collect hearts and get hearts in return? That you buy a pass to get a item from like cupid and her / his sister? Wouldnt that be fun?
Prepare for more expensive sets because I 100% believe the devs are using expensive updates to decrease the amount of diamonds in the royale high community, I made a comment on inflation but basically more diamonds the less value they have, meaning items require more diamonds and flip flopped. so if there are less diamonds the have more value meaning items require less diamonds. so what the devs are doing is bitter sweet but will help us in the long run I think.

I used to stay up for hours like HOURS grinding like I was up 5 am trying to save for a set I would fall asleep on the floor I was so tired, I started waking up at five in the evening.

Barbie gave us, the community, the freedom to control trading since we wanted it so badly. The problems that came with it is entirely our fault as a community. On to of that, none of the community is actually putting in enough effort to change that. We talk. We complain. Yet we STILL pay to much, we STILL overprice with them, and we STILL let the community get worse.
*Everything went south when Barbie gave our community to much responsibility. She believed that we could handle this and in turn, we ruined the whole point of her game. Its on us*
Ps: This is not hate, its not me trying to be some saint either. I am apart of this problem as well, however, because I understand I am i do not talk nor complain about the matter. I agree to some extend. I say this with all the respectfulness i can manage, I don't mean to be rude or hateful. I enjoy debates and enjoy being educated, as well as providing my own insight on how i see things. It's not a means to hate on this person or myself.
It's not the fault of the community that people just became used to the seemingly over the top, expensive items that come with the game. People enjoy the game even with flaws! And that's completely ight, you probably do too- I know i do. But those who pay for the extremely overpriced sets do it because they're willing to remain committed with the community bc they're given no other choice?? Throwing the blame on the player solely because they're willing to remain is extremely deaf, and incorrect. We are not responsible for the choices the developers choose to make, we are only responsible for the words and the games we play. The devs can listen now and lower the prices, but people would complain eventually as anyone does on any game. The player could just stop playing in general, but who's who to tell someone they need to stop? We can't put the whole community in a bubble and be like, "it's your fault", because its honestly bad choices on both sides.
I personally just refuse to throw the blame on just the player.
In some defense of the devs, they're obviously going to let themselves be influenced by the masses, but I don't see them really doing that anymore because of the horrible things fans will say. It is a circle, yes, but I refuse to accept new players are at fault in ANY way.
I've been playing royale high for 4 years, I recently thought about quitting because the items are overpriced, I'm a set collector and farming is quite hard for me, its also stressful since I also have other stuff to do, I really hope they make things cheaper.

For the new school, they said they were making better leveling up rewards… those rewards weren’t even diamonds… Just stuff for the new school. I guess a good thing is that they made leveling up easier and you get diamonds more quickly. I guess.

She’s done something like that before. She said that she thought that the creator’s ring should’ve been worth like 100k. It didn’t change anything though and probably never will.

1:30 about what you said here, I feel like leveling up to 75, trading up is the only inspiration to level up. There’s no other purpose other than trading now. The new players are so left behind and lost with everything being expensive, it’s hard to have fun anymore. and like that’s because Royale high has lost its flavor in the past years. It used to be about role play and hanging out, but now it’s just overpriced “gotta catch em all”. Everyone wants skirts and halos, the new suits and items being expensive could also be a factor too? and you always notice how barren the school is now. I’m not too big into trading but just an observation.
the only reason they made it 75 was so new people don't get scammed but people are still getting scammed but also new players may not know prices

I’ve been trying to get a halo for like 3 years and I still don’t have one cause of how overpriced they are. I cant believe how much people want for one halo. Even if the halo is worth 900k-1M they overprice it by 200k. seriously I feel so bad for new players trying to get their dream halos.

it honestly became an kind of like adopt me where people only care about items and trading and not about roleplaying. Ofc you want new items and good trades but the prices get higher and higher I noticed since the summer fantasy set it was hella expensive and the only thing I wear is the veil and because its an seasoned set I cant really wear it in the winter so I have to wait an year just to wear it in season and no one wants it. Sorry if Its kinda off topic but I just have to get this out.

As the years go , sets are getting overpriced, halos are getting overpriced, legacy skirts are getting overpriced. A lot of the items people like are just overpriced, and its getting harder and harder to save up diamonds as the years go and people are getting tired of it and stressed.
1 if its making you stressed its not worth it.
2 sets are getting expensive because devs wants to decrease the amount of diamonds in rh. its going to take 1+ year(s) to succesfuly get rid of all the extra diamonds through this method. but once the extra diamonds are gone, everything will be cheaper and more accesible for new players

i agree, everything is so overpriced. i remember i used to play royale high and when trading came out it was like chill and then i took a break from royale high for like 6 months and then i come back and this is what i hear : "TRADING HAL19 FOR 13MILLION SAY ABC" "TRADING PARASOL FOR 200K SAY PIE" and stuff like that. I was so shocked because of how much royale high had changed. Also about the thing there is no trading back well i do this for ppl. Like if they regret a trade and they ask if they can get their stuff back then i give it back but only if they give back my stuff :)

The Spring halo use to be 200k on average, now it 600k?! Like what!
I can barely buy any items I want because I have to farm so much and its overwhelming on how much I have to farm, so I just try to get things myself, because trading isnt really my thing.

I am so done with trading, right now I’m just working on my level because I’m like level 500 and I want to get to 1000 one day. But the overpricing of items actually pisses me off, people get so greedy and rude over items.

Tbh as much as the trading hub could benefit people, the players make the items so god damn expensive so they can get more diamonds in their wallet. I've kind of just given up and decided to go for items that I'll use to make characters and stuff. But even then, the shop has also been getting expensive and the devs need to at least do something to control the outrage.

In other words less diamonds in the rh community means diamonds have more value meaning items need less diamonds to be fair. What the devs are doing right now is really smart, just because i too, am having a hard time getting the new set doesnt mean im going to bash them for it. I took the time to think about why they'd price stuff like that and then came to that conclusion which is very logical

I've been playing before it was even Royale high and I remember when everyone, including me was begging or getting excited for trading. I don't know who made overpricing seem "fair" to the point where everyone agreed that trading everything you have in game for any halo is fair

tbh no, normally people in trading hub sell in-shop items for way cheaper than the og price. for example I literally got real life mermaid skirt for 8k when the shop price is 23k or som… and the same goes on whit almost every item

I love the game Royale High for the aspect of making outfits and roleplaying, so I have to save up for new sets, items etc and there’s always new items, new sets and their so OVERPRICED!! Aswell as the trading items, one time this girl offered 1 billion for halos, I’m just appaulled and am a little frightend at what it’s gonna be like in the future. It’s just not fun.

a tip i recommend:
try dividing the item you want, and how many days you want to save up for it. so you wont have to grind for it all day and have a schedule.
example:
(lets say ur saving up for oa boots and you only have 11 days left)
so, 55,000 / 11 = 5,000
so you farm 5,000 diamonds for 11 days to by the oa boots. hope this helps :D

I agree, a skirt that was around for like 3 years and was worth 10k before is now suddenly a few million just because it's rare and will have a remake. The new set costs almost 200k but it isn't even that good. The only purpose of playing royale high now is really just to "be rich" and have items worth a lot. It's become really hard for new players who cant trade to play the game and it isn't fun for them either because no one cares about roleplaying anymore.

2 days before the huge inflation, I sold my Halloween halo 2020 for 700k, which the most anyone would pay, but then, inflation came and I became halo-less(??) and now I’ve just given up on getting a halo, people say adopt me is trash because of trading but the exact same is happening to royale high and nobody’s doing anything about it

i totally agree with you. whoever sets the prices for the sets in the shops should rlly lower the prices as its very hard for new players. And this is my opinion but i think the game should have never introduced halos as a rare item cu ppl who have it start overpricing it so much like buh like when rh was still kinda a new game u could easiy trade between halos and one set was enough for one halo. I rlly liked that system tbh and i dont like the fact that rh is slowly becoming like adopt me in terms of trading. The values are a mess
plus farming for 1mil dims isnt easy when i see many ppl struggling to farm for even 100k and that not everyone can buy the gamepasses tomake it even a bit easier as most parents refuse to buy robux and sayits not worth spending which i will agree with and plus the mulltipliers are kinda overpriced i feel like almost 1.5k for 4x multipliers??? i find that ridiculous
i agree, royale high trading use to be fun, because things were so much cheaper and actually affordable. royale high needs to add a diamond limit to stop this crazy overpricing, the reason this has happened is because of overpayers and people like that. royale high is just a trading game now tbh, rps are technically dead which i find really sad. i hope this year prices begin to go down, and wouldnt everyone be happy with that? sure you cant sell you halo for as much, but you could buy more instead of just one low teir for 1mil diamonds-

I have played Royale high since it came out, (I lost that account due to a misunderstood ban and I forgot the username) and things have gotten so pricey since trading came out :’( I kinda wish it went back to an innocent roleplay game where nothing was too overpriced for what it is ;-;

Bro, the items are so overpriced especially for new players. We have to farm for HOURS a day just to get 3k. Its even hard for younger players since most kids LIKE ME dont get alot of robux to buy the multiplyers. And WE HAVE SCHOOL we have to study, eat, take a shower, maybe some extracurriculars. Ive played for 4 years, took breaks, and uhm im concerned. Imagining the new players coming in reaching lvl 75 and if they havent watch many royale videos then they wouldnt think its that bad with overpricing. Reallyy barbie gave us trading and it was fine at first but ever since tier lists were made it went downhill. Its technically our faults and the devs- if we didnt make tiers or overprice crap then this wouldnt have happened. People started getting used to overpricng and now its really bad. On another hand though the dev couldve just said something. The devs could've released a official tier if people follow tiers that much and probably hoping.. it wouldnt be as bad. As someone who is on lvl 500 now and saw this change during lvl 300-400 its really nothing new. We know it most likely wont change and if it does hopefully it'll change in a good way. Also knowing that even the genre of the game is adventure. Yeah that was probably there for a while but if you think about its called royale high, a school, not a trading area. We kinda ruined the whole point of the game and we also kinda are the reason people started quitting. At the same times I just hope one day the devs do something about this overpricing and make their game rise again like it used too.
i miss the old royale high, i still play it but sometimes it gets boring and people don’t really roleplay anymore which is still the point of the game but now people made trading apart of the game now so less people roleplay. it’s been a long time since i did and i really hope things get better. people can still trade but i still want more roleplayers

I started royale high in 2020... And I know, I'm not one of those OGs who started playing in 2018 or something. But I still just remember who I roleplayed with people in Campus 2, doing some fantasy roleplay. Although royale high's items and quality improved ALOT but still... I can't blame no one cuz I also did nothing about it. It's just nostalgia I guess.
But yes, about the overpricing, I agree so much. As an average RH player with no gamepasses, the main source of diamonds are from EXP, for leveling up, I only get 300 diamonds, and unlike some ppl who have the time to farm for hours, I've got other things to do in real life. I've just got back from quitting royale high for over a year (for the new campus), and I still remember why I left. I was kind of "rich" back then, not like SUPER rich with 1 million diamonds and 6 halos or something. But as I played, I found it boring, with more overpriced items, means more diamond farming to do. I was tired and quit.
this is basic economics.. when something is no longer in production or obtainable, the price inflates as the demand does. these things are now legacy (unobtainable) and reworked (new and nicer); also yes it may seem expensive if you're not doing anything to acquire and save money; but barbie makes it very simple to earn diamonds with or with out game passes, saving from leveling up, working the trade market, general farming, sunset island, and daily log in is literally free diamonds.. all in all i think its unfair to claim its changing but 'not in a good' way especially when people have done nothing to adapt to changes.. but who am i to tell anyone how to play, try to have fun just keep in mind that anyone can earn and save diamonds!! good luck out there.

Theres many types of Asians, southern which are brown asians for eg pakistan, bangladesh, india, eastern which are chinese korea and japan, southeast which are Philippine thai and vietnam, there are many more, but the cb set is totally valid and okay if it represents the east asian culture. Ya know this is all on us right? We getting mad about stuff we did ourselves. All this over pricing is on us we made this game into a place where people can’t enjoy themselves anymore. Y’all could say “oh I agree the overpricing is terrible the devs should stop making sets so expensive.” These are our actions that this game is becoming stressful to play.
And that’s why I stopped playing because of how time consuming it really is to farm diamonds. It makes me feel less motivated, and I love collecting items myself. But when it’s this expensive, I’ll pass.

Yes it would make the game a bit harder but it would engage more people in gameplay rather than just trading.
