Lets Build Twitter From the Ground Up: Episode 157 || Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and React

Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.
In this episode we continue working on the replies on the frontend, starting out by styling the reply to better match twitter, including cutting the text off at 5 lines, and displaying the show more link when it is more than 5 lines long. Then we finally set up the frontend to be able to make replies with images attached. After setting up the axios calls for creating replies with media we find a bug when sending replies with gifs attached which we debug and fix. Finally, we updated the frontend code to actually display the images which are attached to the posts.
