Because trench coats are so trendy right now there are some really bad ones around that are not shower proof at all the whole purpose of a trench coat was a smart looking shower proof coat and a stiffer fabric that holds its shape I ordered a few recently and they have been just floppy cotton like fabric no good for showers or wind 😢
Yes! This is such a good point to bring up 🙌 many of the cheaper ones are just made for the look and not the practicality. I still have a vintage Burberry on my wish list which I hope to find one day when I can justify the price🤞 A lot of ethical brands make good quality water proof ones at the moment but the price tag is high. Higher than a second hand Burberry.

Elastic bands or hair ties over the arms and then scrunch them up. The sleeves will cover the bands. It took me some time to get used to the feeling of it around my arm. You definitely don’t want anything too tight
A denim shirt is something I'm missing in my wardrobe I tried some on that were on sale in Tesco the other day the sleeves were so short 😂 so I didn't get one I'll wait until I find exactly what I am looking for ❤

Love the all black under the trench, white jeans, black tops and trench combination. Black with beige just looks so good and makes the outfit pop even though the two colors are both neutral. I wear a lot of dresses, but don't have a long and thin coat that covers the hem of the dresses. I like the shape of the trench but want something softer and simpler design.
