had the most spontaneous last minute trip with not even a week to pack, and ended up being one of the most memorable trips of my life. Essaouira definitely holds a special place in my heart, a city that takes you back 100 years and where time is precious and slow.
Definitely recommend to everyone as a place to go away from the hustle and bustle of our normal routines back into a place where you appreciate life more.
Started reading ‘as long as the lemon trees grow’ as my holiday book, picked it up on my 6am flight and within the first 50 pages balled my eyes out 4 times and had to physically put it down or I would’ve been hysterical on the plane. One of the saddest books I’ve ever read, reminds me of everything that’s going on right now and it’s heartbreaking to read. 100% recommend to everyone to read!
