- This was an unrepairable unit. My approach was graceless, aggressive, but I wanted you to see as much of the tear down as possible, From the complete unit down to the bare bones. This was more complicated than your average coffee maker.

Andrew thanks for your video. The centre button on my Talea Ring stopped responding to touch. Your video helped me so much in being able to get the touch panel off. I found that the front panel had warped due to heat over the 5 1/2 years I have had the machine. Once I got the touch panel out (6 small plastic legs into the body of the machine) i removed the small circuit board which was only glued on. I then put the front panel in the oven at 275f for about 2 minutes. I removed the front panel from the oven and put the circuit board back onto the panel and clamped it in the centre with a small g clamp. This allowed the circuit board and front panel to mate again properly and so all fixed.
Hi Andrew. I got the problem sorted. Had a problem tricking the machine to get the 'gear' to shift back into neutral, but it is all sorted now. Your video inspired me to have a go. Thank you Kate
Tks a lot for the video. It help me to repair the machine.
brilliant video ,saved me hours of struggling to open mine ,well done ,couldn't have done it without your video ,mine has a coffee count of 5525 cups and still working ,just had to fix the water tap hall sensor
Andrew, were you able to put it all together again??
Hi Andrew Thanks for your video.
My problem is that the door to the brew group of my Saeco Odea (very similar to your machine) is stuck. I think the brew group is still engaged preventing me from opening the door. The top and bottom lights are flashing indicating a problem. Any ideas of how to open it? regards Kate
Oh my godness! Did you ever open any coffee machine before??
My saeco talea ring doesn't allways take the menu and hardness aroma buttons. You have any suggestion?
Thank you for making this video - I learnt a lot.
Hello friend. Thanks for the detailed video. You helped me with the repairs.
Take off the front/top first. The screws holding the sides are then accessible.

I pulled the steam knob which "slides right off" and guess what? It did come out after breaking. Thanks so much Andrew DIY!! Probably best to NOT follow this video.
@grazio No don't follow this if you have only thumbs on your hands ;)
Hahahaha Este gajo!!! Now how the hell do you put it back together .. looool!

und jetzt wieder zusammen bauen ....das möcht ich sehen
Nicht mehr 🤕😁😁😁😁
My machine just stopped working. It passes water through the pipe, it descales fine etc. But no more coffee is coming. It starts with the buildup of noise from the pump, then goes a bit quiet, and eventually it gives up and makes a loud pop/bang type of noise. So it does pump water, but it doesn't pass water through the coffee. Anyone have an idea what I should check or replace?
Wow I just repaired it because of the exact same issue you described. What I did was take the front silver dispenser part off. I pulled off the large Saeco knob, then used torx bit to remove 3 screws. Clean out the coffe dispensers (black plasitc box thing with a rubber top) and I also shoved a toothpick into the opening where it connects the box. There is a spout there, you probably can't see it unless you look up in there with a flashlight. The toothpick part solved my problem, and I checked by putting a small hose to the white tube (it connects to the brew group) and blowing. Air passed through with no problem. I put it all together and ran it in preground setting a few times to make sure it worked and to keep from wasting beans. Water passed through no problem, and the pressurized popping had stopped. Hope that works for you
I have the exact same issue after 8 years of perfect service. Will have a go at the proposed solution
Ok i just took it apart and no blockage in the pipe. Wasted my time. Now I found this: ruclips.net/video/l89XJIJoWf4/видео.html Where I actually found out that my brew units filter was completely shut.
Andrew read the manual first an then it comes apart systematically
do you have the manual? i cant find it. can you plz send to me aasim.billoo@gmail.com
C’est un massacre, bonjour le remontage, bon courage.
Well, I guess it might be helpful to watch a guy who knows nothing about these machines tear one apart without having a thought of putting it back together or, god forbid, actually repairing anything. (He says it’s a unrepairable unit, I doubt he even knows as he assumes it must have been due to hard water.) The quote that caught my attention was “who knew these things were so complicated?” and “ I guess that’s why they’re so expensive”. On the other hand, the guy was bright enough to know he could work at just taking things apart and then throwing the stuff away! I did this for a good part of my childhood…without ever knowing I could make a career out of it! I’m an idiot!
Po co on to wszytko wybebeszył?
What was the problem with this machine ? I do you see a problem now ! They print the body innovative...

Let's remove this bit for no reason whatsoever. Put all the screws and bits in a heap.
