consulting companies typically don't require master degree, but they do tend to recruit from top universities. If this is how you want to transition, then i'd find a consulting target school, and pick something you like to study

depends on the role you are applying to, industry experience may or may not be required - typically, the job description should tell you

Typically company would only sponsor if you’ve already worked at the firm

You can still apply, but will probably require more networking to get an interview oppty
