Without out classic lighting, to me it looks like just any other GTA game, but the classic lighting definitely gives it that nostalgic ps2 look. I know this because I have the original version of the game on my ps4, which still has that orange atmosphere.

I liked the classic lighting addition for S.A. and GTA 3 but for some reason I like V.C. a lot with the pre patch normal lightning, I guess it has the right tones and vibe for the retro 80s.

Wish the skybox was the same as the original with that classic moon and the rockstar constellation and the mysterious dots that flew across the sky

The only things that look better with classic mode off is the sun lightning and the water

It's not perfect but it's way better than before. Do feel they could have done with a little more sunflare and some heat lines but other than that, again, much better than it was.

the classic lighting just gives me so much nostalgia, it looks exactly like the PS2 version, glad that Rockstar finally fixed this game, even if it's not perfect yet

the classic lighting is too yellow and green In my opinion, there is no point in going back to "og" because it is supposed to be the definitive edition after all, so I think that the normal lighting is better, its only my opinion.

i think some details GsG added to interiors is really cool i overall dont like their work but i always say its rockstars shitty fault for hiring a team that doesnt have any prior experience in doing a project this ambitious
truly its rockstars fault for the poor quality we got in release
their trying to fix the mess they made....what a crappy company honestly rockstar is not the same as it used to be
