Preparing for Big Germany Unification in Victoria 3

When I form Big Germany, I don't want to include too much of what isn't Germany, as those states will want their own self-determination. To prepare for that, I need to cut Austria down to size...
My mod list is in my Discord server on the #victoria3 channel. If it was easier to do a Steam collection, I would have done one. :-)

Always carefully explore the UI in Paradox games. They love to hide tons of useful toolboxes and little buttons everywhere. Sometimes extremely useful buttons will be hidden away in a menu because it was added in a dlc and they didn't want to change the base UI.

I know its a little bit late now and a bit cheesy, but if you bankroll Austria after a unification play and get relations up they will literally support you fully integrating them with no war!

Which did happen in a later play. Makes me want to reverse that in an Austrian game.

@@An_Economist_Plays haha, good to know. Its definitely far easier as Austria at least in vanilla since they are a better nation at start and scale really well compared to Prussia pre-unification

you know, i'm pretty sure 'werden' implies a future tense, more 'all men will be brothers' or 'all men become brothers' rather than 'all men are brothers'. admittedly, i am only extrapolating this from how it appears in 'Du musst Caligari werden!', 'you must become Caligari!'

It still works with my intent. :-) Often, that's how Schiller's line is translated - into the present tense - but future tense works just as well.
