There's one for sale on fb market place here in Canada. It needs a windshield and gas tank replaced. 190k miles. 5000$. Blue with chrome rims. I'm looking for a car and this looks tempting.
I just got a ae111 sprinter trueno with the 4age 20v blacktop and I think I may be the only person in the US with one lol I didn't even think anyone else had something this close. Mine only has around 80k and If you think they changed the steering that's the same one I got, so they may have swapped it with the trueno. I have heard people say the trueno was toyotas prelude so the levin may be like their civic? I live in the South US.
The sprinter trueno and Levin are exactly the same minus the front bumper and badging . This has the blacktop 4age 20v as well. The steering wheel was switched out with one with red stitching while the original on this car had black stitch (same design). Nonetheless, both Levin and trueno are amazing and underrated! Congrats on your purchase !! Would love to see pics of yours
@@tklgarage Ah yes, I did not see the red stitching. Mine is same shape but black. I was wondering what the differences were but yours seemed more rounded like the civic while mine seemed more wedge shaped like the ludes, probably because your bumpers look more rounded and aerodynamic. It's a beautiful car, I like the white too. Mine is black with some flake. We should have a 7th gen levin/trueno car show one day and it would just be us at the waffle house having lunch 😆
I would say the Toyota's Sprinter Trueno and Corolla Levin were roughly equivalent to Honda's Civic & CR-X SiR (or Si for the 80's versions). The Honda Prelude was more in line with the Toyota Celica.
It varies , since costs include shipping, duty, tax, fob fees, etc. and it’s all a percentage based on the cars price. And then arranging shipping from the port to wherever you live .. it’s typically around 5-7k on most cars
what are your thoughts on the st205 celica gtfour? I have the opportunity to trade my nissan skyline r33 gts factory manual rb20e with 201k km and very little rust and the gts25t body kit for a celica with 130k km. Which do you think would be better to keep as an investment? If I keep the skyline I would most likely swap either an rb20det or 25 depending on prices.
get the celica bro, celica only had one cool model, that being the gtfour, skylines came in all different types of trims and therefore desirable models are easier to find
Hi there! I'm contemplating importing an A111 Trueno from Japan. Haven't had the chance to drive one yet but maybe the closest reference is a Scion TC? If you've driven a TC how do they compare?
Haven’t had a chance to drive the TC but I use to own an xB. Love the way the scions drive but the ae111 feels more like an Integra in comparison . It’s a fun car to drive and handles amazingly
i am the new owner of this car its such an amazing car. thank you for importing this little gem 🤙
I've been a big follower of this car for about a year and want to import one myself one day, nice to see more people in the states appreciate it
It’s a shame so many don’t know about this car ! Definitely a fun car under the radar
@@tklgaragehopefully by time I get one they won’t shoot up in price. I’m curious to see how your super strut suspension holds up overtime as well

Just saw you sold the AE111. What a cool car. Definitely a car I would love to own someday. Did you import it yourself? Cheers from california.
